Their green enchiladas are the best and you pay the bill before the food comes instead of the opposite. Their salsa is okay, but the rest of the food is perfect.

Chose La Chinampa to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner. We picked La Chinampa after trying out dozens of other Mexican restaurants in the Milwaukee area. They did a fantastic job. The food was delicious. All of our guests were very happy. It was packed in easy-to-use travel containers and stayed warm. Coordinating the order with the restaurant was simple. Would highly recommend La Chinampa's catering for events.
Best Mexican food in Milwaukee, hands down! Their carne asada tacos are perfection and their burrito with birria meat is absolutely delicious. Everything is freshly made to order, and you can really taste the quality and care they put into their food. I've been here on multiple occasions, and the food is consistently great. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Spot Before Summerfest! This was the only restaurant we could find open on the 4th of July within walking distance before heading to Summerfest — and it turned out to be a great find! They have solid lunch specials every day, and the tacos came with a generous amount of meat. The rice and beans were also flavorful and fresh. Plus, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stop here again!
