We decided to try Alpine after hearing about it. We went on a Sunday evening for a drink and a bite to eat. Place was small and very dark. We grabbed a side table, that was dark, and the table was dirty. Ordered a couple of glasses of wine (that were not chilled and warm) and ordered something to eat. I was very skeptical when the grill that was located in the bar looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I ordered a burger and fries, and my husband ordered the steak sandwich - medium rare. We got our food, and my husbands steak sandwich was way over cooked and our fries were dark (due to oil) but undercooked - raw on the inside. Burger was cooked, but we left with a burnt taste in our mouth. Don't think we could recommend or go back there again. By the way, bartender that we knew from another bar/restaurant was there cooking the food, and not trained to cook. Yuck.

Small little gem on Oneida lake with great burgers! Bonus...one of the employees is a Chicago bears fan and just moving here from the Chicago area it was a refreshing welcome!! Friendly competition is a great thing!
