Busy night at JJ's. Fish was good, along with bbq mac n cheese. Took a little while to get served, but after all we arrived at a very busy time. All and all it was a great time and would come back again.

This place is so AWESOME! This was are first visit time for Karaoke with Big Sexy on his birthday, ? it was amazing time. It really made me and friend Tim feel like we where family. Great bartenders, and the people are wonderful. Thank you guys for making our first visit so memorable. ?Thanks Barko ??????

Showed up last night 20 minutes before the Packers game. They had advertised drink specials for this night DURING the game. The downstairs bar has been closed for awhile now which is kind of a red flag. So of course the downstairs bar was closed, went into the upstairs bar and not one TV was on, most of the lights were off, only a few people and not welcoming at all. This place is on it's way out.

My mother & I went there on 09/22/2023. Got there around 5:45PM. The review written exactly one week prior by Carol Kissinger could have been written by us. Two booths with 2 people each plus a few @ the bar. Slow to get menu. I ordered the beer breaded lake perch with buttered red potatoes. Mom ordered the regular breaded cod with sweet potato fries. 20-25 minutes later I was approached & told there were no red potatoes so I chose the chips. About 10 minutes later Mom was told by someone else there were no sweet potato fries. When I mentioned that there were np red potatoes, my Mom was told that they had them so she chose them. We waited another 20 minute & almost left as we hadn't gotten anything to pay for anyway. The description of the lake perch looking like 4 little smelt was accurate. There was so much breading on them that it all fell off when touched & I had a pile left on my plate. Don't know what the fish was, but I have eaten a lot of lake perch in my life & that didn't look like it. Chips were OK. What pieces of cabbage that were put into a small tartar sauce cup were pink but had no visible red cabbage. Cod was OK. I should have spoken up re: the red potatoes. Couldn't tell they were potatoes as they were diced extremely small & had burnt diced onions in them. When I realized we had not gotten bread or the mac & cheese I flagged a male that had been working the bar area. Said distributor had not made bread delivery that day & they haven't served mac & cheese for "some time." When asked why it was still on the menu & no one told us about either one of the unavailable items, we got "sorry." Wait staff should be informing customers of unavailable foods when seated. No discount, etc. Needs a better distributor. The whole experience was disappointing.

First time there last Friday night early. We took two guests. Asked about mac and cheese and waitress said they don't serve that anymore. I wanted sweet potato fries and she came back and said they were out of them. Waitress came back and my husband ordered wedges and they were out . He had perch and they were so small they looked like smelt! I gave him a piece of my cod. We were told no rye bread as distributor did not do the delivery that day! Food was good but couldn't believe all the things they were out of as it was early! (5:15 p.m.) My husband and I probably would not go back again.P.S. To owner - there was no RYE BREAD - I have 3 other witnesses to that! Or at least we were told there was none!

Great place to be later on a Friday night! Servers were friendly and the food was delicious: we had the Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese sauce and it really hit the spot. Friday nights they have a really fun karaoke show that is not to be missed. I love this bar!

I placed an order online as it is one of the futures of this establishment.Showed up 5 minutes after it said it would be done.First red flag should of been an empty bar at 6pm. The bartender looked confused when I said I'm here for a pick up she then stared at my receipt for awhile. Then gave it to me and said they are still working on it.Well 30 minutes later it was clear that they didn't even start my mean and couldn't even give me the decency to say her sorry we didn't start your meal because the option we offer on our website for ordering... well we didn't even know that was a thing anymore...Cool so I sat for 30 minutes with out the offer of compensation for any part of my meal not one I'm sorry not hey can we add anything to make up for this nope I took my food and went home.Now I get mistakes happen so I wasn't even going to write this review about the above mentioned.Lord is the food of this place absolutely ? ? after a 30 minute wait somehow on my 5 minute drive home the fries where cold the "fancy chips" where not cooked the frozen mini tacos didn't even come with the sour cream I ordered and man these mini chicken tenders are something els. Oh and the Walmart brand cheese logs are to die for! All for way to much money. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
