Overall, unfortunately super disappointing. Always weary of a restaraunt inside a hotel and this was no different. Generally the food was good!! The appetizers were good and all the sides were really good as well. But the service just made the experience super disappointing. First they were out of wine, then forgot a dish, and we were basically blamed for not ordering it loud enough. Then the sea bass came out completely raw in the middle, and were told that the “chef just wasn’t used to the equipment” ?? Then they insisted on cooking an entire new plate from scratch which is a very kind sentiment, but just caused the member of my party to sit there hungry while everyone else completely finished their food before finally getting theirs. And the cherry on top was that during booking we noted that there was a special occasion , and it was never mentioned. That genuinely wasn’t even all. Kind of just a clumsy place, if it was based on the food we’d be back. But we will definitely not return due to the poor service and mishandling of mistakes.

The location is nice as my wife and I were in town for a work trip with Briggs and Stratton and was in the lobby of the hotel. The company said it's one of the best in the area. The food was ok but nothing like Smith and Wollensky, Ruth Chris or Kayne Prime. Just didn't meet the expectations my wife and I had from a restaurant that was so hyped up. One of the female managers there was just rude and dismissive and made a snooty comment to my wife which was uncalled for.

Went here on a date night with my gf and upon entering the Host didn't see our name even though I had open table confirm the reservation. Kind of started the evening off on a bad note. The managers didn't seem to care either. I get things happen but this just left a bad taste in our mouth. The 8 oz filet was requested medium rare but came out tasting rare. The Bavarian soft pretzel was too salty. The only good thing was the plushness of the toilet paper in the restroom. Maybe a second time around will be a better option🫡🤞

This was our first time being here at the Chophouse. We had received gift cards for Christmas and it was my birthday so wanted to try something different. I’m sure glad we did! It was the next level dining experience for us. The service was excellent and our waitress was a great help and knowledgeable from our wine choice to food options. I told my husband it was the best meal I’ve ever had. The green salad was fresh and generous. My filet was melt in your mouth tender topped with mushrooms delicious! We chose grilled asparagus as our shared side. And to finish it off I chose raspberry tiramisu as my birthday treat and it was free! Thank you Wissota Chophouse wait and kitchen staff for this amazing experience. We will for sure be back.

This restaurant is our favorite place to dine. The service is always wonderful--friendly, pleasant, and efficient. The food is terrific. My choice is usually something from the seafoods; the scallops being the very best. My husband chooses one of the aged steaks and has always been very pleased with the flavor and tenderness, as well as being prepared exactly as ordered. We really enjoy the Happy Hour with terrific drinks and appetizers. Great place to diine!
