The Covered Wagon Restaurant is a great spot for a meal with family or friends. Their menu offers a variety of options, from chicken sandwiches and California burgers to grilled chicken salad and fish filet sandwiches, all highly rated. The homemade corned beef hash is also a popular choice. Prices are reasonable, and kids will enjoy meals like the corn dog with fries. Desserts and service are both excellent. Although it can be easy to miss when driving south on 53, the spacious gravel parking lot can accommodate trucks and trailers. The restaurant also features Sunday specials. On one occasion, a local elderly man's behavior was noticed, but it didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Many plan to return to this charming establishment.
