As soon as we walked in I knew in my Texan heart it was gonna be good. The smell was amazing. I got an asada and a carnita street taco. The fresh tortilla were great. The meat tender and well flavored. But the star of the show was definitely the birria taco! Packed with all the yummy spices and goodness. And they had glass bottle coke to wash it all down with. We found a new spot to add to this list when we are in the area!
Thank you for providing safe gluten free options! It is difficult for our family to eat out in Hayward as we have one adult and one child with celiac disease. The only gluten items on the menu are flour tacos (I would also avoid the fryer if you have celiac), otherwise tacos can be made on corn tortillas. The sweet lady assured me she cooked my daughter’s chicken separately to make sure it was safe for her because she has celiac disease. Thank you for providing a vegetarian...
This place never disappoints, with its delicious and authentic food, sauces, and beverages. The people are also very kind. They accidentally made too many of something and the sweet cook in the back came out and she asked if anybody was still hungry. These are good people and a great place to dine—inside or outside.
