We had a family gathering for my nephews birthday here during the week (about 25 people). Staff and owner were absolutely incredible hosts, attentive to the groups needs, and put out a fabulous burger and chicken sandwich spread (build your own) with sides. Staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and fun. Yard games were appreciated for family and kids alike, and the food was top notch. Restaurant was clean and we were please to see that other customers were still able...
I have eaten at Powells maybe 20 times. Eighteen were Friday for the fish. They serve walleye. I have eaten fish frys all over western Wisconsin and this one never disappoints. Never mind all of the “all you can eat “ places serving crappy cheap fish, Powells serves one big walleye filet that is perfectly cooked every time.

It’s great to see something where Famous Dave’s previously was. Food was good, excellent fish sandwich. Family member said Jala-poppin Jack burger was lacking heat. The chicken teriyaki bowl was very spicy! Not sweet at all. Otherwise the bowl did have excellent chicken, not overcooked, and beautiful veggies.
