Stopped for a late lunch as we were driving by. Debated about the special for the day but sounded like too much food for me (could have shared). My son had the 1 pound Mighty Hurricane burger and I had the Somewhere Else Club. Both were very good but the side of fries were definitely not our favorite. The bar was pretty quiet as it was an odd time of day. The bartender was friendly and knew the locals as they came in. The locals were also friendly as we chatted at the bar.
The bartender was a one-man show on the Friday night when we went there. He was awesome! Took the time to talk to us about the menu choices, took our order, brought our food to the table and check back with us. My bf had the Italian beef sandwich with fries & I had the black & blue burger with fries. EXCELLENT food--hot, flavorful and alot of it! Several of the friendly customers around us were telling us how great the fries were and they weren't wrong. Great place...
Solid tavern. Free peanuts at the bar with lots of beer selection.
Wings were good, ranch and blue cheese not great. Burger was on point and fries were undercooked but I was a happy camper nonetheless. Still all in a solid meal.
