We catered out a dinner for a corporate retreat just South of Hayward. Peggy went above and beyond while also making sure to cover our dietary needs as well as delivered on time. The food was excellent and we will be utilizing them again in the future.
This review is for the resturant. We feel mixed about our experience. The food was delicious however the service was incredibly slow. Like ridiculously slow. There was not many tables at all. We arrived at 5:30pm and didn't get our entrees until 7:00pm. Refills were hard to come by and we were given two baskets of bread which were not enough for everyone at the table to get a piece. I did approach someone and kindly asked to check on our food because we considered leaving...
As elegant as a restaurant can be inside of a lodge. It's set up to cater large groups of people. However, they were short-staffed and service took longer than anticipated. The French onion soup was delicious, although it was a bit on the salty side, but for my taste it was exceptional! The service was satisfactory, considering there were 11 tables in the dining hall, and all the tables in the bar were full as well, and they only had four servers. But these girls were hopping...
