I didn't stay in the lodge, but I ate at the steakhouse, and it was one of the best steaks i've ever had. Our server was so sweet and helpful, and this will be a staple stop anytime I'm in Hayward.
This review is for the lodge only. First room smelled like dog pee so they graciously changed our room. Why do we have a coffee pot with no coffee and same for ice bucket…where do we get ice? It would be so easy to make this place so much better.
The steakhouse and Lodge is an excellent place to go in Hayward Wisconsin. The food in the main dining room is great. The bar has a good happy hour with excellent bar bites. I always try to stop there when I’m there.
