Got to town after a long flight, this was the first place I went. This juicy burger was a magnificent start to a much needed vacation. It was locally sourced butcher meat cooked to a perfect medium rare, the perfect burger. Toasted bun, hot fries, at my table minutes after I ordered.
Wonderful atmosphere, the regulars and staff interacted with each other like a family, and I got to join it for about an hour on a Saturday. I’ll be here again on my way out of town, highly recommended.

Service was good, atmosphere was good, but all overshadowed by the lack of drink selection, as well as serving raw chicken tenders.

0 stars. Not one good thing to say. Can't tell you if the beer is cold or if the food is good. We're not regulars (1st time there) so we couldn't get service. After about 15 minutes of trying to wave down a bartender, we gave up and went to Hazlehurst Pub, where we were greeted, seated, and served by a very friendly staff.
Been driving past here for years and we finally came in for some dinner and drinks. The burger was delicious and so were the fries! Great service from the bartender and friendly crowd. Will definitely come back next year!

I love a up north Wisconsin bar. Awesome Friday fish!!! I am so picky about slaw, but this was on point.
The burgers were great stopped on the way home from snowmobiling, the chicken sandwich had the wife raving over how good it was
Ordered the Whitney Melt which comes with a 6oz burger, fried onions, Swiss cheese on toasted marble rye. Either the toast was huge or my burger tiny. Not sure that was a 6 oz pattie. 😡 The onions were fried but I don't think they'd even make up a whole slice. The toast was good.
There were two lonely pickle slices.
The French fries were overdone.
Normally I'd say something but the bartender/server wasn't exactly friendly. Husband asked about a certain beer and was told they're all the same.
The place was decently busy but not overfull. A Saturday early evening in January is not exactly main season. I can't count busyness as an excuse for unfriendliness.
Sorry, but I can't recommend this place.

Gotta try the wings, on special Tuesday's. There is a dining area in the back so it's semi kid friendly to go out to eat. We were there on a slower day so it worked out perfect.
