A wine for every palate! Had 20 wines on the bar to try from Dry all the way to Dessert levels of sweet. The gentleman working the bar was very helpful and friendly. Couldn’t decide on which wine to buy, but we finally settled on The Sweet Cherry and White Sangria. The Ruby Lady was tough not to buy, I can see why it’s won so many awards. Definitely worth the drive for this hidden gem!
This is a great winery.The wine is absolutely delicious.There were so many that tasted great, it was hard to get just one or two cases.The owner and worker were both so friendly & FUN.I can't wait to go back!!
Spurgeon vineyards is a wonderful tiny family Vinyard in the middle of the remote Driftless area of southern Wisconsin.A multi-generational operation that uses local grapes to make a dozen or so varieties of wines that are easy to drink and tasty.It’s not fancy…and to my palate the wines run sweeter and fruitier, but I liked the 4 samples I tried and bought two to take home.These folks used to grow their own grapes, but the vines got old.
