Came to the former Beezers now the Hillsboro Roadhouse for lunch with 2 fellow hunters after I had told them how good it was 2 days before when I stopped for lunch on the way back from Sunrise orchards who I have reviewed in the past. I have been to this establishment under the old owners and staff, and it was definitely one star. But under new ownership and a newer staff, it has definitely significantly improved. I would recommend this place now.
This restaurant/tavern is attached directly to the hotel, and I was very happy about that after having spent all day bicycling the Elroy-Sparta Trail. The bacon cheesburger was outstanding, and the fries were the best I've had in a very long time.
