We went to the Rock River Bar and Grill for dinner on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was super friendly and the service was excellent. We played pool and darts, watched the baseball game and enjoyed some local beer and interesting shots of alcohol :).
We were just in Horicon for a couple of days but I would definitely go back if we are in town again.

Food was all cold, dry, and flavorless. Coffee and kids Mac n cheese were served cold. Outside of building is COVERED in spiders! Absolutely disgusting. On the plus side, our server was nice and attentive.

My wife and I stopped in to give it a try, the owner Monica intro herself, and since it was Friday in Wisconsin, we both had the fish fry. I had the giant sized walleye and my wife had the baked cod....both we excellent! And the atmosphere was laid back and friendly. A definite must try!

My husband and I were driving through town and stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered the caramelized onion pizza and my husband had a philly cheese steak. We both enjoyed our food and drinks. The bartender was attentive and nice. We would stop in again when we're driving through Horicon.
Sadly, one of the only places in town has been going down hill steadily. The food is just ok, kind of bland. The service last time we were in was horrible. I realize that they were short staffed but the little bit of service we did receive wasn't very friendly. Almost like if you're not a regular, forget about being served. Nothing turns me off to a business faster than treating you like you don't matter. We won't be back.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink and dinner while we were in the area. We enjoyed everything about the place. The atmosphere was nice and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio.
The food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. And the service was great!
