Damn Yankees Watering Hole is a must-check-out spot along the Wolf River. The building is beautiful both inside and out, creating a great atmosphere the moment you arrive. The food was delicious, and the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Easy access from the river makes it even better—boat in during the summer or snowmobile right up when the river is frozen. We’ll definitely be back.

Very good Friday fish fry. We went about

We got to this place at 10:50. Menu says they serve bfast until 11am. We put our drink order in, orange juice, apple juice, etc. Then the waitress says, we stopped serving bfast. We said, it says until 11am. She says we stop at 1045 bar time. Apparently, we are supposed to read their minds and know that. We left. She was not nice about it.

Claim to serve breakfast until 11am, as listed directly on the menu. But when we sat down to order we were informed it's actually 10:45am that they stop serving breakfast. Wouldn't be a bad idea to list the correct time instead of people wasting the time driving all the way there.

Have been there several times for breakfast. Nice not being jammed into a small dining area. Wonderful having some shoulder space and breathing room. Absolutely amazing service, staff is friendly and courteous and the portions are large. Good price for everything all around.

Had dinner at Damn Yankees tonight. Hubby had deep fried Haddock and said it was OK. I had the French dip. The meat was dry and there was very little on the bun. I was very disappointed in our food. SIL had walleye and did not eat it all which told me it was just okay. Tried here a few months ago and same thing. Thought maybe an off night. But tonight said probably not. It will be a while before we try here again. Maybe next time the food will improve. We go out for fish every Friday night. Getting hard to find a great fish fry.

Great place for pub fare and cheap beer. Very reasonable prices, fast service, good variety, and comfy atmosphere. My only small recommendation is that they reduce the amount of salt they use in their food. I love salty food, but the brat burger and cheese curds were VERY salty.

Pretty cool restaurant. Lots of options for sides. Had a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was fantastic. Big and crisp. My wife had the crispy chicken wrap and enjoyed it as well.
