Excellent staff delivers outstanding authentic Mexican cuisine! There was three in our party and each of us ordered different items, we were each very impressed and will definitely stop again when back in the Northwoods!! If you are nearby - stop in, often!

Service has been terrible there lately. One of the last time my husband, daughter, and I went for lunch. It wasnt busy, we were seated and handed menus, we also didnt need menus because we knew what we had wanted. We waited 20 minutes before asked what we would like to drink and another 20 minutes before our order was taken. El Tarasco offers a pleasant dining experience with great food, reasonable prices, and accommodating staff. The restaurant provides typical Mexican dishes with generous portions at affordable prices, including amazing steak tacos, steak burrito California, and lunch steak fajitas. Guests can enjoy awesome margaritas, amazing Chipotle queso, guacamole, and salsa with chips upon arrival. The staff is very friendly, polite, and provides fast, attentive service. The building features exposed beams, a fireplace, and a separate bar area. The food tastes great, with delicious flavors in every bite, and even leftovers are fantastic. With its welcoming atmosphere and consistently yummy meals, it’s a place worth returning to.
