“So there I was, getting dragged to this place from Duluth because my buddy wanted to check it out. I didn’t have high expectations. He’s always saying “[insert restaurant] has the best [insert menu item] I’ve ever had. There’s probably a dozen places that have “the best pizza he’s ever had”. I no longer trust him.However, he knocked this recommendation out of the park. Go there and order anything they make in house (or a frozen pizza if you’re lame). I got the Udon noodle special (I think the meat was brisket) and he got ribs with beer battered fries. Both were awesome. Super friendly couple that own the place (and the wife is pretty cute ?). Good atmosphere and great views of the lake too. Try em out.”

“Classic small town saloon. Owner tends bar and is absolutely a class act. Provided spectacular service and top shelf bourbons on hand are amazing for the location.”

“We stopped in passing through town and enjoyed some very delicious beer!! The brewer/owner is a one man show and a Jack of all trades! He made very flavorful beers and not one we didn't like! The "Ravens Breath" was my favorite, my husband's favorite was the hazy IPA! The bar top was hand made by the owner and has really cool agates from Lake Superior in it! This place has really cool hidden treasures including some vintage Fitger's beer bottles! You should really stop in and have a pint or two!”

“It was so fun to find this on our way home from Ashland, Wi. It’s such a treat to taste local products! Please visit this neat cozy place! I didn’t get to snap much photos but they do have all kinds of Mead drinks & ciders. The couple John and Kim (Hamilton?) has been running and making these local drinks for the past 28 years! We support local ? and they deserve to be recognized more. They are lovely and kind people which makes it an impressive impression, surely!There are toys for kids to get busy with too! But the real deal is the challenge they give to kids with cup & ball, not sure about the name of the game but if you visit you’ll know!Cheers to more Wisconsin place to discover ☺️”

“Stopped in for a beer and a t-shirt, small crowd, quiet, dimly lit just like I would expect. Bartender was pleasant and attentive. Beer was cold and the t-shirts reasonably priced.”
