We had such a great experience. The pan seared white fish was AMAZING! The old fashioned was even better! We enjoyed the pontoons and our time on the lake! Chris was great and gave us some cool spots to check out while we were in the area! This truly is a gem and we will be back with friends!
A few buddies and I stayed at Loons nest and Moose ridge over Memorial weekend. Loons nest offers a very beautiful view of the lake. The cabins looked newly renovated and were very clean. They have an awesome setup for outdoor games and activities including a very nice fireplace. Would definitely come back for another stay.
We stayed in Loon's Nest over a long weekend and really enjoyed the cabin and surroundings. The cabins (we got to view them all) are modern, comfortable, and well-appointed for a short or long-term stay. There are several things to do to keep you busy during your stay such as badminton, fire-pit, horseshoes, and of course the lake. I highly recommend booking a stay.
Updated and modern cottages on the pike lake chain of lakes. We really enjoyed our stay. They have a cute setup for fires at night and everything was very clean. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and relax.
There are no words to describe how truly amazing Chris and Brenda are. The food here is amazing. Please consider their business and when you do, know you’re supporting the business of truly wonderful people.
Great food, friendly staff, delicious and inspired cocktails! A must for the iron river area 👍
Cabins are nice, views are great but the supper club was closed, assuming covid.
This restaurant is for events by appointment which we weren't a part of. The cabins are available. They are ok, but Busky Bay is beautiful and quiet. Lots of wild life, including loons!
Ron Faiola's Wisconsin Supper Clubs book brought us to "The Spot" on Buskey Bay, Iron River. Kevin and Pam were gracious hosts, Kevin makes a good brandy old fashioned - hand muddled. We enjoyed our visit, the food was excellent and our server was attentive and pleasant. I tried the Friday evening special - Deep Fried Whitefish with sugar snap peas - I am typically not a "whitefish" person but this was well prepared and was excellent - The pea pods were delicious. You'll enjoy some great views of Buskey Bay and the Pike Chain of lakes from your table. Enjoy your visit, we sure did.

Beautiful view, Friendly servers, delicious food !
Our family was in for dinner and had the fish fry special on Friday. The whitefish was fresh and delicious. Garlic mash potatoes were spot on. Our server was very attentive and the old fashion was perfect!
We are new to the area and trying a new place every evening. The Spot was a very pleasent surprise. Warm and welcoming staff, a varried menu and a bartender that knew his craft. The Tuesday night special was BBQ Ribs. They could be ordered by the bone, were meaty and very tender. The Mrs. had pan fried Walleye with fried Zucchini and said it was good.
We visited this place last year/2017 for he first time. Loved it so much that we came back the next night too. So we knew we had to stop again on our annual visit/2018 to Bayfield/Ashland. It was great again! The three of us had ribeyes, old fashions and a fuzzy. Cooked perfectly and tender, perfect fluffy baked potato and fantastic homemade tomato basil soup. Also - and most importantly, the people that own the place are super friendly. You can tell they care about thei
We went here on the advice of our Air B&B host when we said we wanted our kids to experience Wisconsin supper club culture. She said this one was a classic. Well, it was probably fabulous in its day, but those days are long gone. We were the only diners on a Wednesday evening about 7 pm during high season. There were three peopleatthebar. The view was fabulous. The supper club itself is pretty cool looking in a 1970's kind of way. The food was pretty bad. My whitefish filet ($21 for one small piece with a side of tepid mashed potatoes and an iceberg lettuce salad featuring one sad limp cucumber slice and a couple cherry tomatoes) was the special and was supposed to be "lemon pepper encrusted" but it did not taste of natural lemon at all. My daughter had a flatbread that was supposed to feature avocado and bacon, but instead of avocado, there was something that was probably supposed to be guacamole, but which failed miserably. The bacon was cold and seemed like it was made yesterday. She could not eat it. My son really liked his smoked pork chop, though. I wish we had just sat at the bar, enjoyed the view with an old fashioned, and then went elsewhere to eat.
