Brought my snobby big city cousin from out of town for a late breakfast / early lunch because I knew 29 South would impress! I’m not usually up early enough to catch their breakfast, today was a treat. Sandwiches and pastries are my favorite ❤️

Highly recommend! Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch! We shared the quiche and a veggie omelette and they were both great. Our server was very super friendly and attentive. I don't usually leave reviews but felt compelled to direct others toward this little gem!

Went there and was a bit shocked with the price and I was like "I could probably do this at home" but I was honestly even more shocked with the flavors and how it complimented each other and thought to myself "I would probably over flavor it"

Surprisingly, sub-par from nearby restaurants. 1st and definitely last time we try.

Went there with my daughter and neither one of us like anything about the place. The food was dry and/or salty. Online it showed at the time they closed at 3, but we got in there at 12:15 and they told us they close at 1 and we had to pay in cash. I got the daily special which was tuna and it was the very runny and didn't look like tuna. The bread was hard. My daughter got a make you own sandwich with the soup and the soup tasted like pure salt. They kept telling us they closed at one and the lady brought the bill over before we got the food. Another couple came it at 12:30 and they told then they couldn't serve them because of the time. We definitely will not go back. I definitely do not recommend.
This little cafe is a gem! Everything we ate was fantastic. The friendliness of the staff was amazing. A true treasure of the area.

Wasn't especially impressed with my experience. I was unable to order any kind of latte as someone was filling in for whoever normally works. Coffee bar was available, but not what I was looking for. Ordered the vegetable quiche, which was okay but didn't have much flavor. Seemed more like a hang out for older folks or friends of the owners. Pastries looked overdone so I skipped those despite my interest before arrival. No one came to drop off my bill, had to approach the counter on my own. Saw the man who had been waiting on me sitting at a table, and I was never even offered a glass of water.

Very peaceful environment, Angie is polite, engaging, and knows her menu! I had the infamous Cuban for the first time and it was delicious, and well balanced lunch with a cup of cream of mushroom!
