Great food & even greater staff
Great food love it great people service is also great
I wish I could leave a review Based on the actual food But Of the four times that I have ordered every Single timeThey have only had rice and meat. No relleno de papa, no empanadilla, no sancocho, no pasteles, no fried chicken and so every time weve cancelled our order. Today we tried to spend almost 100 dollars. Its only 2pm. Just change your menu at this point if you dont want to prep the product.**thank you to the owner for the reply. I do not have Facebook so this automatically puts me at a disadvantage. And as I also stated i would not write a review like this after just one attempt or item. The most suprising for me is empanadillas and relleno de papa. 2 items that are staples of Puerto Rican cuisine that i know personally have easily attainable ingredients and are easily prepped. I understand the paandemic era has affected restaraunts as i too am in the business. I would suggest you work with the online ordering apps to better understand how to have special items available only when you are actually offering them. As a consumer it is much easier to hear that something is a daily special and is unavailable than to have it seemingly available and receive a call 20 minutes after placing to get bad news. I wish you the best and look foward to finally being able to taste your food as janesville is lacking in good cuisine.**
The mofongo was delicious I had it with steak. And my wife had the Puerto Rican rice and roast pork and tostones, it tastes just like our honeymoon dinner. Thanks for taking us back to those memories.
I ordered the papas rellenas and they were very good.
Love the yellow rice and chicken. Please, just take it down a notch on the salt.
I have been there a few times, they now have different dough for the empanadillas which my family prefers taste like the ones from the island. Flavorful and crispy.
We got takeout, to eat at a park in yesterday's unseasonably warm weather. Pernil (roast pork) was moist and flavorful. Mofongo was crazy delicious, as were both the meat-filled snacks we sampled. Easily enough for two! Service was friendly. We look forward to returning to try more.
The food was authentic and delicious! Great local business. ???

The food there is so extravagant! The workers there are extremely nice! I highly recommend trying the empandillas!!!!
My family is Puerto Rican and I was disappointed, portions way too small, high priced. The girl behind the register had no knowledge of ingredients, not friendly and basically just sat behind counter on phone. I was disappointed with the 12.00 steak sandwich that was sopping wet with mayo three Chinsy pieces of meat. Mofongo was bland, rice tasted soso. Like I have a hard time watching someone at work sitting like counters could be sanitized something. I brought my Caucasian friend and had i not been there the person working there had no idea what was in anything.
$10.00 ham & cheese sandwiches and the wait was a loooong time, mind you, aside from my son and I there was 2 other customers and they got food while waiting for our order. It was ok just a ham & cheese sandwich and a soda, I expected a little faster service.
Amazing and delicious food
Great Mofongo & Tostones! Authentic Puerto Rican food. Good prices, generous portions. Pictured is steak mofongo with half portion of tostones and PR rice. Plated at home for a picture. Enough for dinner and leftovers - but I ate it all
