Another experience made well by Alexander. Catch him somewhere in Janesville. The cheese curds were exactly what I was craving. I had to confirm before taking a picture, hence the basket is half empty šŸ˜‹

My new favorite tavern in Janesville. Excellent staff. Some of the best smash burgers on the planet. Always feels like home. Zook-approved!

Visiting from Phoenix and found this gem. Amazing. We had the cheese curds (I’m from northern WI and can honestly say they are the best I’ve had), pizza, burger, drinks. Staff was fast and friendly. Great music.

Found this place on google and decided to give it a try and wow they have the best burgers! One of the most delicious burgers I’ve had. I had the hot mama, and my MIL had the black and blue, FIL had the classic and we all agreed that the burgers were one of the best. The fries were very good also! I’m sad I didn’t take a picture but if you try this place you will not be disappointed.

Awesome food in a cool building.

The bartender seemed very intoxicated and was very loud (kind, however). It felt off for the vibe of the business.

New find for us here in Janesville. I was really craving a burger and I can say this was easily one of the best burgers Iv had in a long while. The variety and creativity in the menu was refreshing and we will be coming back to explore more! Megan was our server and she was so friendly, attentive and engaging. She was so busy but we felt like the only people in the restaurant. The service and food was very fast. Great cocktails too!!

I was really excited to try this place out since I love supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We came in around 6:30pm on a Saturday night. It was myself, my husband, and our two children. We were the only people not seated at the bar and who appeared to be eating. Our server came up and asked us for our drink order. No introduction. No hello. Not welcoming. Okay, I can deal with someone who just wants to do their job. However, her body language and lack of acknowledgement to our ā€œplease and thank yousā€ made me uncomfortable. She would drop things hastily and walk away before you could say anything. When the food came - it was just meh. The kicker was when I ordered the wedge salad and asked for no blue cheese and to substitute the balsamic dressing for ranch. When it arrived, it had the balsamic dressing on it. I cringed because I did not want to say anything, but I was really looking forward to it. So I very politely said, I am sorry..I didn’t want the balsamic dressing on it. I was shocked at her reaction. She was legitimately mad at me. She said ā€œyou didn’t say no balsamic. You just said no blue cheese and that you wanted ranch!ā€ I started to explain what I really asked for and she abruptly took the salad (with the side of ranch dressing) and said ā€œfine! I will just remake it.ā€ I cannot tell you how uncomfortable I was. I waited and when the salad came back, it was just 3 sad romaine leaves. Not cut up. And no ranch dressing. I was too uncomfortable to ask for anything so I stole my daughter’s ranch and tried to eat the whole leaf without a knife. I struggled for a while and when she finally made her way back, I asked for a knife to cut up the salad. You would have thought I asked her to bend over backwards. Eye rolls. Sighs. And then brings me a butter knife. It seemed like most of the customers were friends of the staff, and that we were outsiders. Never felt welcomed.

We stopped by on a Friday around 6:30 for food and drinks. The venue is fairly small but some customers kindly moved over so our group of three could sit together the bar. The bartender was trying hard but not super efficient. We ordered drinks from the specialty menu and they were very good once we got them. We also ordered a pizza and specialty fries. The wait was ridiculously long (sorry I didn’t time it) but all was forgiven when the food arrived as it was delicious. Atmosphere is low key and comfortable. I’d go back again for great food and cocktails but only if I have plenty of time to wait. I hope they can become more efficient-this place would be a gem with stellar, upscale bar food, but service times were really slow. The couple next to us ordered the cheese curds and they looked fantastic. I will try them next time!

Our first visit. Amazing brandy old fashion. Great beer menu. The BEST cheese curds around. Our bartender/server, Megan, was super friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!

What a cute place! Just driving up to it screamed ā€œCheersā€! My husband and I each had burgers (the WWW and Sweet & Savory) which were perfectly done and tasty. Fries were awesome, but if you prefer less salty, let them know. I love a little extra salt, so they were perfect for me. We will be back. Nice addition to downtown Janesville.
