This place is fine if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere. Our service was slow, the waitress never checked back on drinks and looked bothered when we asked for refills. The food was just average, onion straws were bland and lacked flavor. The interior fireplace was awesome and the vibe was very old school supper club.

I had Beef Barley Soup and a half Cobb Salad. Both were delicious, I would get them again. My friend had Chicken Alfredo and loved it.So far this is my favorite restaurant in Janesville. I will definitely go back.

Went for breakfast and was about to leave. Wanted to let the waitress know we were leaving so I told the bartender. She asked if there was anything wrong and I just told her we were looking for a traditional breakfast. So she proceeds to show me where on the menu it is actually literally spelled out Traditional Breakfast. So we stayed as embarrassed as we were and it was a phenomenal breakfast. Good times.

We stopped here as we drove by Janesville on the interstate for a Friday night fish fry. We'd read some nice reviews about the place and figured we should try it out.When we walked in, we knew we were in for a wait because the small area by the host booth and bar were both full of people waiting to be seated. We were able to get a spot at the bar eventually and had some tasty old fashioneds while we waited for our table.When we got to our table, we were promptly greeted by our server and placed a drink order. Our server, while very busy, was very nice and took care of us well throughout the night.My wife ordered the walleye and I had the cod...both were fantastic, hot, fresh and correct.
