Did not eat, didn't plan on it. No open seats which is a good sign however everyone was just drinking. Stood and enjoyed a beer. Bartender busy but connected with everyone.

Typical bar food. Average flavor. Nothing spectacular. Had a Patty Melt. If I guess, the middle of the road grade burger, prepattied, probably came frozen. Decent bread and onions were amazing and the best part. Service, maybe it's their thing, but asking for our drinks yelling across the bar while we were seated at a table. She was fast and friendly. Nothing memorable. Newer building, clean, maybe too clean for a bar? 🙃

Road Dawg Saloon is a great little stop when you are in the Janesville area. Our 1st visit was tonight and it was a great experience. Awesome bar food, amazing staff who are super friendly and seem to be always smiling. Priced perfect for what you are getting. This is a high recommendation! Stop in and say hi.
