I go to Sammy’s Hilltop very often to meet up with two of my sisters, brother in law and my parents to be together and enjoy conversation!! We order food and lots of drinks and have a great time with bartender, Katy!! Well, as we were still ordering drinks(spent over $200 in all, if not more) we were asked if we were leaving soon cus there was a group coming in by 6:00pm and needed the big table that we were on!! I have never been asked a question like that in a public bar that we were still buying drinks and enjoying my family EVER!!! We all felt like we were getting kicked out, so we got our cards and left right away!! It was so unprofessional to be ask that question!! The sad thing is it will be along time before I will ask my parents to meet us there again!!!! I wished Katy never had to leave as our bartender!! We were and are very disappointed!!!!

When we arrived there was one table sat and a few people at the bar. Waited 40 minutes and one out of the four people at our table received their food , they were able to finish their food before the rest of the table was told it would still be at least another 10 or more minutes before the rest of the table was served . The manager and owner were more worried about making excuses about the cook only being 16 than they were about the helping the kid and serving their costumers. There were 4 waitresses on staff and the owner sitting on her butt at the bar.
We were there for an hour and only one out of four people at the table received their food by the 40 minute mark. 10min latter we ask about other 3 orders and are told that it will be at least another 10 minutes before its ready. The manager and the owner kept blaming it on their cook only being 16 , while they could have 4 waitresses on staff and the owner sitting on her ass at the bar nobody could help the kid make the food faster ... and they just keep saying " but the cook is only 16." If the cook is only 16 why could nobody help him?

Fabulous fish! Greg, the owner, does everything he can to make sure everyone is seen when they come in and keeps them updated on any wait times. Staff does a great job checking in on customers, ensuring they have what they need.This isn't your basic, run of the mill bar food..... please stop out and try it for yourself.

Went here on a Tuesday night and it wasnt super busy so probably a little over half of the tables were taken. Our waitress told us it would be a half hour for our food to be ready, i didnt have a problem waiting 30 minutes so we stayed. All we ordered was wings and a chicken wrap. We waited for an hour for the food. Both waitresses that were working and the owner came over at least once each in that hour time frame and said our food was being prepared right now and that it would be out shortly. The food was good but not worth an hours wait. There were multiple tables sitting there waiting for their food so we werent the only customers waiting on our food. I liked this place but i am heavily disappointed with it now.
