The service I recieved from tonights meal was unimaginable. My girlfriend and I were seated in a booth for 4+ and had to face the wall. Our waitress visited our table once when we ordered and a second time when we paid. Our water glasses were empty before we had received our main course. My girlfriends silverware had green flakes stuck to it and had a film covering it. I ordered a ravioli that was supposed to have lobster, salmon, crab, and shrimp. I received it with cold meat and no salmon. When I addressed the lack of salmon with our waitress, I was told that the dish did not entail salmon. I later addressed the issue with the resturant manager and she told us that she was aware of the issue and the best that they could do was a free desert or a $10 gift certificate. Along with my girlfriends sirloin, we paid $73 dollars for incorrect food and poor service.
Always enjoy my experience there.
On-line menu does not match actual restaurant menu. Web menu had many more vegetarian options and the restaurant menu had pasta only. Food was cold, ordered gourmet Mac & cheese and cheese was not melted. Kids menu Mac & cheese was so much better than the gourmet. Inconsistent between wait staff. Some tables have bread some not. Salads bland and boring. Just iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato with cheese. Some other tables also had croutons but my table did not. Prices listed on menu were in pounds??? Do not recommend.
A little late in leaving this review but my husband and I had our wedding reception here October 5th 2024! It was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The food was incredible and the owner and her staff were beyond helpful. From the initial planning, to set up, to making sure the night ran smoothly - they were on it! We couldn’t be more grateful! We still come to Harry’s often for dinner and the live music and have enjoyed each visit <3
Food has no flavor. Server didn't check on us at all plus messed up our order.
Menus say 1 price & they charge you a higher price & say the menu is wrong. Service was horrible bc they forgot 2 many things 2 list. They ask u if you want soup or salad with your fish dinner & charge you $4 dollars for half filled bowl when you are thinking it comes with the dinner bc of the way its said. The wait is unbelievable long very long. This is the 3rd time we went & definitely the worst & last! The only thing good was the fish is some what decent. Also clean the black mold from around all your ceiling vents on lower level that had dripping water on & around them, should be shut down just for that safety infraction!
Cooks can not cook a steak and we tried two rounds. They can not make a prime rib that not well done. Ribeye had so much pepper it was hard to eat.
We gave it 6 years since our last bad experience and guess nothing changed in the kitchen.
The restaurant was severely understaffed. I only saw one waitress covering the whole restaurant. Same thing with the cooks they seemed to be trying to help bring out food, take orders and clear dishes. The waitress did her best that she could while trying to maintain her composure. We felt sorry for her as did others in the restaurant. Considering it was Father's Day, they should have been better staffed as there were several large groups.
This was our first time at Highway Harry's. The service was poor., some.of the food was not served hot, there were out of menu items we tried to order, and my husband had a hair in his cheesecake. When we asked to speak to a manager about the issues we were having we were told there was no manager on duty. We asked the bartender the same question and they told us there was a manger and sent them.down to check on us. We will not be back.
Service is very very slow. Waitress said they were out of wine. Not true. Had to go to bar to figure it out My burger was supposed to be medium but came out so well done it was hard as a rock. After waiting forever for it to come out I decided not to complain. I have met friends there for years but I do believe this was my last time. It's not cheap to eat there which is ok if the service and food reflected that. But it doesn't. My recommendation is go somewhere else

Sadly, this restaurant appears to be struggling. First, we were only one of two seated tables. Second, it took a full 20 minutes to get our ordered drinks and to finally place our order. No explanation by the server who we expected to say they're having difficulty. They just appeared irritated. Third, both of our meals were very disappointing. Fourth, we had checked the menu from their website, but the one handed to us had been extensively modified. Yes, we understand that small changes can be made as food supplies can suddenly raise in price. But, also, the prices were shown with the Pound symbol! Who does this? Finally, as we were leaving the two servers were having a conversation which we had no trouble overhearing them complain about the lack of business. Who does this in earshot of customers? We've been coming to Hi-Way Harry's for over 10 years, but we will not be returning until we hear that they've addressed the many difficulties they're having.
Service was perfect. I appreciated the fresh crispy salad. We had prime rib. The meat was done perfectly as ordered and the flavor was outstanding. I also loved that it automatically came with horseradish. The ambiance was lovely and decorated very nice. Fireplaces and a huge fountain. We will definitely return. They offer an array of food to satisfy anyone's likes.
Service was extremely slow. We border a cocktail and it took nearly 30 minutes to get it and before our order was taken. Food was ok, nothing special. Had to ask for salad dressing for salad and butter for the potatoes. Definitely will not return.
Arrived on time for our reservation but the staff told us they were closed. (the doors were open.) Another party was told the same thing. No apology, nothing offered to make up for it. We won't bother eating here again So we had to find another restaurant at 515 on a Sunday night So much for using Open Table
This is a nice supper club atmosphere. As with most places, wait staff was slow as I believe they don't have enough. The bar tender was young and not experienced enough. Had somebody order a 'black and tan' style beer and she just dumped 2 beers together not even knowing what it was. A supper club needs to be up to par with bar service as most have at least 1 drink at the bar before sitting at your table. 1 out of 4 of us had their dinner burned and the waitress brought it out anyway and tried serving it. It was chicken and it was black so it was sent back. They did right their wrong and bring out new chicken that was done perfect but the rest of us were done by the time it came out. We went on a Friday and they had fish fry as their special; 2 of us had a fish fry and the other shrimp which all came out good. Moral of the story: order what they're good at. Items on their special menu and your general supper club fare of Steaks and Seafood are the way to go. BTW, their soup was OUTSTANDING
