Sampled a nopales (nopalitos) that was quite nice. Very earthy.He did a one time dish, sopes, which was amazing! He's thinking of putting it on the menu and I hope he does! Reminds me of the picaditas I had in Guerrero Mexico one time BUT MUCH better, and certainly better than the ones I grew up with.Our first visit we had the Alambres with rice and frijoles. I want that one for my last meal.They have a limited menu, which is quite fine with me....do what you do best to perfection. Going back with the kiddos in a couple of days.For everyone in WI, (like my wife) there is great flavor, and minimal heat and she ate everything (I like habeneros).Beer is cold, margaritas are smooth and sassy.Going to be a contender for Racine County best Mexican food west of the I.

While the staff was friendly and welcoming, I did not have a great experience with the food. First, my horchata was terrible. It was more like cinnamon water. Like drinking a glade cinnamon candle. Secondly, my tacos shells were stale and tough. The chicken was okay, dry, but okay. The ground beef was caked with sour cream and nothing else. No topping, no lettuce, nothing. Just beef and cream. The salsa and chips were pretty much the only things that were up to par, and barely. I wanted it to be better, so badly. My final thought? Not worth it.

I came for lunch and ate in the restaurant, and I really enjoyed it. The workers are really friendly and the tacos I got came out quick and were bigger than expected. If you are in the area and get a chance to come by and try this restaurant I'd really recommend it.

When you read the reviews, just look at the ones from 2022 as they have a new owner. I've been there twice and my food was excellent. The chips and salsa are great, I bought three different tacos -the pork was my favorite. My husbands had burritos twice and like those as well. A little Pricey, but you don't have to drive to Milwaukee or Racine.

Meal was great. Alambre tacos was my pic and it didn't disappoint. Chips and guac were spot on!Kids ate the American style tacos and liked them. Prices were reasonable too.

We ordered dinner for pick up. It was not ready when I got there which was fine. The gentleman offered me some chips and salsa which was very nice. The chips had a bit of an odd taste. I got home with our food, while the portions were good sized, the rice was bland and refried beans were lumpy and watery. The other food had a funny taste as well. Will likely not return.

I was served a completely raw Pastor taco. I do not mean that it was undercooked, it was literally a raw pork taco with seasoning on it that they forgot to cook. This was my second time picking up food from there. I thought that their other food was great, but now I do not trust their food preparation standards. I called them to let them know that they were serving raw pork to customers, and I was offered a free credit for a taco the next time that I came in. I thought that the steak burrito was very good, but I can't trust this place. I really did think that some of their other food was excellent, but I don't trust a place that puts raw meat on a taco when they weren't even busy.

Food is mediocre at best. Pricing is out of line with what you get. Ordered taco plate and got 3 undersized tacos. Can of soda was 3.95. Watched waitress eat chips and never wash her hands before serving us our food. Save your money and visit 1175 instead.
