“My first time there with two of my friends while road tripping on our bike's and I have to say it was a great experience. We were able to pull our bike's right off the road and park right in front. My first impression was this place looked like an old western salon! The layout is crazy cool. Once inside the atmosphere was even better. This place is a great rest stop for any bikers out road tripping. You won't be disappointed. Oh and by the way the name of the bar it's self is worth checking out.”

“Super fun place!! Its a hidden gem! If you go out back theres a whole outside area where they had live music, a bar and picnic tables. It almost felt like going to a family party. I wish I lived closer to it because I'd be there all the time.”

“Went for the 10 Years show and had a great time. The venue is pretty small, but seemed to have just enough space where we weren't crammed in like sardines. Although it did get quite warm, and had to step out several times to cool down. When we first arrived it was really had to get drinks, but once the show started it was a little easier. I would go see another concert there, maybe go earlier and try the food. #waw #adulting”

“My husband and I have driven by this place for years but tonight we stopped in. It was very loud and busy (Saturday PM). Cheryl was our waitress and was wonderful. I have a severe seafood allergy so she confirmed with the owner and the cooks that everything was fried separately. She was very attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was great! I got an amazing burger. The onion rings were also good. We will be coming back.Dietary restrictions: Seafood fried separate!!”

“We just discovered Scungillis's as it's a bit off the beaten path. We have tried multiple sandwiches, soups, stromboli, and desserts. Everything we tried has been amazing. It's great quality and large servings. This is my favorite lunch spot now.They have a catering menu too which looks awesome. We plan on ordering from it in the future. We are lucky to such a gem in the area.”

“Very unique place to go to. It is owned by military vets that are retired. So the inside is set up military still. With many things to see from past wars. “Surprisingly tasty Mexican food off the beaten path.I had the birria tacos. They were packed with beef. My friend had the bistec Mexicana. I snuck a piece while he was in the restroom. That was awesome as well!Highly recommend!”

“Our food was great, our waitress was awesome. She was friendly and heard it was my sister's bday, and brought her a brownie with whip cream. That was really nice. The only negative was when we walked in, we all noticed a gas smell. So maybe that needs to be addressed. Other than that we enjoyed our lunch very much.”

“Great burgers. Yummy homemade sauces! My kids love the hotdogs and the grilled cheese. Love that it’s a straight forward burger joint, with the perks of gluten free buns and homemade sauces! Can’t wait to try the chicken sandwiches, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I really hope they continue to grow and do well. The outdoor environment could be a little better but considering being newer and all they’ve taken on amongst quarantine years/economy even, we don’t mind one bit. Love that my kids can run around and eat when the weathers nice. “We ordered pizza to go.And had mushrooms while waiting for our pizza. Soda only came in cans. No cups or ice.I had the chicken alfredo pizza plus onions and mushrooms. It was good but they left of the Spinach when adding the extras. Some kitchen confusion I guess.”

“Had the fish fry. Large pieces of fish. I got the fried, not sure they offer baked. The breading was very firm, I was not a fan of that but the fish on the inside came out easily and was very delicious. I would definitely go back again.”

“Bassett Creek Saloon is a hidden gem! The service is phenomenal and so was the atmosphere! Everyone from the staff to the patrons were incredibly nice and gave several recommendations of what to try.We started off with fried portobello mushroom slices which were amazing. For our meal, we had smoked pulled pork sandwiches with a side of potato salad, and a side of the smoked chicken pasta salad. Everything is homemade down to the bbq sauce, and was super delicious. The sandwiches were extremely generous, and the meat melted in your mouth like butter on a stack of flapjacks. The smoked chicken pasta salad was super flavorful, and had the perfect blend of smoky, creamy, and seasonings, and no shortage of smoked chicken. The potato salad was rich and creamy and one of the best I've had in a while. One of the patrons asked which we liked more between the potato salad and the smoked chicken pasta salad and we couldn't decide because both were phenomenal. As someone who normally passes on coleslaw I can honestly say I ate it all and almost ordered a second cup. Even the pickle was crunchy down to the last bite.There wasn't a bad bite in the entire meal. We definitely will be coming back next time on a Saturday for their ribs and to see a duck race! Couldn't be happier to have found this spot!!! Amazing food and amazing service at an extremely fair price, what more could you ask for?”

“It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!”

“This is the absolute BEST bakery I have EVER been to in my life. I grew up in Kenosha, a block away from Paielli's Bakery, and would walk to get fresh donuts every Sunday morning. I was worried when we moved to town there would be no good bakery options. Country Rose saved me. I come in every couple weeks to surprise my family with a sweet treat breakfast. Or a special dessert on smaller holidays, like Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc. Our favorites are the heath muffin, the salted caramel bar, and anything pumpkin during fall. Thank you for being such a gem in our town!! We still have to come in for breakfast, that'll be soon!Parking: Parking is slightly confusing because of the roundabout.”

Bartenders were busy however none of them were when I went to get a drink and I stood with my money out for a while until the lady next to me had to yell to get their attention.”
