Love this place. I took a star off because Jake kind of sucks...
Patty and her team were amazing to work with throughout the booking process, and for the day of our wedding. The food was amazing, the buffet lines moved fast, and everyone had nothing but great things to say. Thank you for everything Van Abel’s!
My daughter was there today for the Easter buffet with her husband, 2 year old and 11 month old. Was charged $15 for the 11 month old. Wow
Food is always good. The Service was lost don't know if it was there first night. Took forever to get are Food. And had to ask a different server for are bill and to go box's. Bean there alot of times never sean it this disorganized.
Great place for family style chicken. They put the bread out and all is delicious! Fantastic service and food.
Great meal
Stopped on 2/16 and we were offered to wait at the back bar. When we arrived a young man took our drink order, he brought 2 of the sodas and a juice. The coke we ordered was forgotten, but it seemed the soda gun wasn't working. After they brought cans to the bar we still waited as the young man went onto serving other guests arriving. Our wait was short, we noticed the young man didn't take the cash we left on the bar, more waiting. We finally got his attention and left without the 3rd soda.
Our server, Justice, was the complete opposite. She shared that she was new, but she was great and did a great job in fulfilling our requests.
The atmosphere is always loud and hard to have conversation, but the food makes up for it.
Went as a family for mom's birthday and gained a new friend .. EXCELLENT SERVICE .. Thank You
Winner, winner chicken dinner. Van Abel's didn't disappoint even though it's been roughly 25 years since the last time we were there.

Went here for thanks giving and it was the worst food I’ve eaten in a long time.
It was ok. Typical wedding venue food. It was blah. Nothing spectacular. Service was quick to seating and didn't wait too long for food to arrive. We got family style fish and chicken. It was eh...okay at best. Nothing made me say I need to or want to come back. It was clean & inviting atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly.
Famous chicken can't be beat! Tasty drinks and very friendly staff! Has been and will continue to be a regular go to for my family!
