This past May marked the very first time trying this place and was a pleasant first experience. Always looking for a local favorite to support and a great find indeed.
Now, I'm drawing a blank but I think this is the venue I stumbled onto on Google Maps that's only open like 6 months out of the year as I remember.
Either way great food at still reasonable prices in a cozy setting, only 1 table inside which I'm guessing where the name comes from but outdoor seating is available as well.
Some items on the menu may make this joint sound just like another typical Chicago grill but definitely not, Baba's is a unique experience that stands out on it's own.
Great cheesesteaks & grub and I wish for continued success and prosperity for the owner(s).
Tried the Original Cheese Steak, added mushrooms. Full of flavor, has a very slight bit of heat, which enhances the taste. Onion Rings and Fries are excellent also. And Sprecher Rootbeer to round it all out.

They got the best food in Kenosha everything on the menu is always fresh, I always get the Philly cheesesteak and the potato fries you will not be disappointed

New owners, even better food. I’ve been coming to SRO for years, but the quality of the cheesesteak changed for the worse a couple years ago so I was SO happy trying it again with the new owners. It’s delicious! So glad SRO is still around! Oh, and their cheese fries are divine!

Just as good as I remember them, definitely worth it.
Food wasn't very good. My wife got what she ordered. I didn't. I went back & verified what I ordered. But that's not what I got. Costco hot dog is vastly superior to this place.

Best cheese steaks around as always. Unfortunately 75% of the time the order is always wrong now. Kinda weird to have specific types of cheese steaks only to have them put what ever they feel like on it. Cheese fries = fries + 2 onion rings and no cheese. ?♂️

We had dinner here on Fri nite . Have been before but first chance to review . Best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever had . Sweet potato fries and onion rings were great as well . Staff was friendly and offered our dog water . He was too interested in the Philly ! Will continue to visit in the future .

I was just going to pick up my order and go.
But instead, and I can't say enough good about this place. Specifically Kesha who brought water out for my dobe and made us decide to stay and eat. So friendly and fun to talk to her & Chef Donnie. I ended up ordering a to-go of their AMAZING cheese steak & fries to take home to my husband.
I'll DEFINITELY be back with my dobes to enjoy this great food out on there lovely little dog friendly patio. Plenty of tables and benches in the shade too.
