Fall menu came out last week- my dog and I are really missing the smoked pork chop. Pet friendly patio with cover from the elements.”

We both ordered smash burgers with waffle fries and wonton mozzarella sticks that were only 4 per order. Smash burgers were small and just average. Seems to be more of a summer place to hang out. Drink list looked pretty good. I will be back to try other foods. Hopefully they have the heat on then.”

I had the cheeseburger quesadilla appetizer and it was so good. I'm not usually a chipotle person but it was just the right amount of heat. My fiancé and I shared the loaded fries and they were also good. But the star of the show was the corned beef tacos. They were so fresh and delicious. The corned beef is so tender and flavorful. I took a chocolate cake slice to go and can't wait to try that when I'm not so stuffed. We will definitely be back! My fiancé said he wishes he could go back for dinner tonight!”

I drove to the place and found it was in a questionable part of town and on a Saturday night, no one was there and I thought uh oh. Already committed, I went in and ordered a small Sal’s stuffed pizza with extra sauce. The pizza was astoundingly delicious and made me wonder why the people of Kenosha aren’t frequenting this place. Based on my long history of eating all kinds of pizzas, there should have been a line out the door! Well done Sal’s!”

“We went to Kenosha’s Mission BBQ. I was extremely pleased with the quality of service from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by Alex as if we were old friends. I need to add that I had never met this young man before walking in the door. I have dietary restrictions. He helped me place my order, provided nutrition lists and helped to make sure everything I ordered matched my needs. I have never had any restaurant help me with such sincerity before. We were also helped by a second employee to make sure the elderly person with us had the best seat for her needs. She later stopped back to see how everything else was. In addition, Alex stopped back to see if I was happy with the food choices he helped me choose. We were again surprised when Alex stopped back yet again with a special dessert treat and helped me to determine how much of it I could safely eat. I can only say “Wow!” I will certainly go back here again and if I had the ability I’d give Alex a raise! We were made to feel as if we mattered not just as customers but as people. I wish more places had employees Thank you Alex! If this is how Mission BBQ provides service more companies could learn from them and from Alex.”

A man answered and after telling him I needed a cake that day that looked special and he first said you need it today? I said yes I screwed up and he said let me check and he came back said this is what I have and it was perfect. In 30 minutes he had the writing done and he got me out of not having a cake. Thank you. “I just have to make a statement that wrote a bad review and her name is Stephanie oberg she is not my blood but related to me through my cousin. It’s so embarrassing that you always have someone in the family that you just can’t make happy and she made a bad statement that Bread was not on the table. They were in the wrong section and rolled eyes at them And the service was bad. Do you know the funny thing is we had my and this was for a funeral for my grandmother a few months before this we had her 98th birthday, which was wonderful caleb even saying happy birthday in Italian to her. They were absolutely amazing and because a lot of my family members, including my grandfather were presidents female and males and been going there since I was young with my grandfather, and I have one of the biggest families in Kenosha, so for someone that is married to my cousin to post this bad review, it’s really hurtful, but I guess you have those kinds of people in the world that can never be happy but let me tell you this when she said to move to another section and they rolled her eyes. That was me because she was in a section that she wasn’t supposed to belong to because all the bread was nice and hot with the oil waiting over there. She open the door and went into a section. She shouldn’t be that’s why there was the door was closed so I helped with so much also because our cousin Crystal blood Cousin was waiting on us. She was wonderful and because I am comfortable with the Italian American because I’ve been there for 50 years through my family I wanted to help I bought freshwater all the time with her. There was hot bread three at every table Crystal was and Caleb and I for my grandmother and family helping the food was excellent as always and she’s gone now, but one thing I can say because that comment that she posted just really hurt me. My grandmother told me she loved the Italian American and my aunt and uncles always had great. You just get so much food that you can bring home and Nancy is an amazing cook. Nancy even came out from the kitchen to say hello to all of us while she was so busy I was even helping giving fresh water and you complain about bread that wasn’t on the table and someone rolled their eyes and you’re lying because it was me your cousin that told you you’re in the wrong section I’m helping you out, dear. Why were you over there? You had no business being there. I was trying to help my family. We’re grieving getting in the right spot on the table fresh out of the oven and I never rolled my eyes. You’re my cousin, but I’m very ashamed of you but I guess you always have that one in the family that is just never happy but I definitely know this is probably going to cause problems in my family, but I’m sticking up for the Italian American and the hard workers that work there so I’m going against my cousin because she’s lying. I love you Italian American Nancy works with you on prices even if you don’t have that much money and you want something nice she truly works with you. They have such great food. Caleb is so wonderful. He’s a wonderful bartender and even his voice he sings. He came in saying three times one in Italian Ave Maria and other songs because I asked him to to my grandmother and she cried on her birthday Crystal hard worker, but the bus boys they came constantly and got stuff off the tables I even helped and I didn’t need to I just wanted to because I love the Italian American so I’m sorry this is so long but I definitely had to say something. The eggplant was sautéed and seasoned perfectly with a nice topping of Parmesan and mozzarella. Usually the eggplant has so much breading that you hardly taste the eggplant itself. This was just perfect. My husband had the meatloaf special and loved it. The mashed red-skin potatoes were delicious and the meatloaf was flavorful and moist. Everything is homemade and fresh. The cook are too older women Tere and Reyna and I have fell absolutely in love with there cooking. They never forget a customer and even make empanadas that are great snack to take home.My favorite are the chicken enchiladas I go crazy for the red sauce no one has made it as good or even close. The waiters are awesome always the boys are always a great conversation and get what I need right away. Go easy on the girl she does smile and will get the hang of the job.(Never know what a person going thru so be nice) But a 30 minute drive is always worth it. This is our favorite place and we try a new place everytime we decide to dine but now can't stop coming back for more. so from illinois and wisconsin this is our #1 spot and we'll worth it so glad it ain't far but I drive hours for the food!”

“Best bread in existence! Try the Round. It's hearth baked and tastes so good! These guys inspired me to bake bread since nothing like it exists after moving to Missouri post high school. Cardinali's is true old school craftsmanship (hand shaped and hearth baked - on a stone) as opposed to the machine made chain driven oven mass produced product at the other bakery in Kenosha. There's a difference! I grew up eating both bakery's bread. Now as a baker, I understand why my grandparents (1920-2000) bought all (or mostly all) Cardinali's. It's a true artisan bread. There's nothing else like it (anywhere)! Tip... buy more than you need. FREEZE what you won't eat right away. Thaw what you need for the next day overnight.”

“I've been at Mason's a couple of times with work friends for the 2-5pm happy hour, which is buy one get one free on beer and mixed drinks. They have a great beer selection there and you can't beat a $16 bill for 4 jack and cokes.
I've never had the food there, but hear it's really good. And while I can't personally speak to the food, the service and atmosphere have anyways been great.

Recently I started trying the protein oats thanks to Alex recommendation and they are delicious I wish I would have tried it sooner! “A few days ago, we visited Dunkin' Donuts and were thoroughly impressed. The kindness of the owner, Valentin, and the staff—Adis, Dayan, and Julia—was remarkable. The atmosphere felt like home, especially with the beautiful Christmas tree on display. We got to try the donuts from the new bakery, and they were the best donuts my son and I have ever had. The coffee and sandwiches were also delicious; the sandwich was of much higher quality than I expected, and the coffee had just the right amount of sweetness. We will definitely be returning to this Dunkin' Donuts because the staff made us feel so welcome and the food was so delicious.”

“If I lived in Kenosha I’d come here all the time. I like the setup of the restaurant and the menu. It was almost like a fast food restaurant in the sense that they had combo meals. I really really liked coming in and having things so simple to get my order in, and the food came really fast in 5 star condition and taste. My brisket sandwich was delicious. The bun had a crisp which added so much dimension and flavor to the sandwich every bite was just heavenly. It held together cleanly so no mess at all and this was no ordinary experience. There were plenty of sides to choose from and I got the potato salad which was as good as a side as your gonna get and the fries were perfect- super fresh and hot but not greasy all. They have a warmer for sauces so you just help yourself. This restaurant smoked any other fast food restaurant I know of and next time I see a Dickey’s I definitely will be pulling in. Lastly I would be remiss not to mention the gentleman and fine cashier that took care of me. In a world of deteriorating customer service, thank you. Nice people doing nice things.”
