“We went to Kenosha’s Mission BBQ. I was extremely pleased with the quality of service from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by Alex as if we were old friends. I need to add that I had never met this young man before walking in the door. I have dietary restrictions. He helped me place my order, provided nutrition lists and helped to make sure everything I ordered matched my needs. I have never had any restaurant help me with such sincerity before. We were also helped by a second employee to make sure the elderly person with us had the best seat for her needs. She later stopped back to see how everything else was. In addition, Alex stopped back to see if I was happy with the food choices he helped me choose. We were again surprised when Alex stopped back yet again with a special dessert treat and helped me to determine how much of it I could safely eat. I can only say “Wow!” I will certainly go back here again and if I had the ability I’d give Alex a raise! We were made to feel as if we mattered not just as customers but as people. I wish more places had employees Thank you Alex! If this is how Mission BBQ provides service more companies could learn from them and from Alex.”

“Cut Stone pizza is one of my favorites in Kenosha when I want a really thin pizza & wood fired. The thin pizza they prepare allows the sauce and toppings to stand out not being overshot by bready crust. The pizza always has great taste as the cup pepperoni is really good, the sausage has good flavor, and the sauce is good with any toppings. The cheesy breadsticks have some good garlic flavors as well so I recommend grabbing some of those to pair well with your pizza. The lemon blueberry tiramisu isn’t my ultimate favorite as I like a stronger lemon flavor but I would still recommend giving it a try. The fire truck pizza oven is also one I recommend checking out as it takes things to another level. They are certainly not the cheapest in town, but it’s because the pizza is worth it based on the quality so don’t let that deter you at all….you get what you pay for and the certainly deliver on the pizza flavor!”

“Place is an oxymoron. We had the most incredible filets- cut like butter. One medium and the other medium rare, just as we ordered. Then the desert came. Tacky costco brand individual terimisu. I wouldn’t recommend any of their desserts, ever. I’ve tried them all over the years. Aside from desserts, every plate is wonderful. Fall menu came out last week- my dog and I are really missing the smoked pork chop. Pet friendly patio with cover from the elements.”

It is a White Castle, I'm not going to pretend it's a Michelin star restaurant. If you like white castle, then this is a good white castle. But it IS a white castle. If you want like, cleanliness, service or atmosphere, your in the wrong place.

But yeah it's the closest White Castle to me and they make good food so it's 10/10.”

“The people are very nice and make me feel comfortable. Sometimes they’re slammed and make mistakes, but that’s pretty much ANY McDonalds lol. They are all hard workers. I haven’t noticed any mask being worn under the nose so far, so 👏 I’ve been coming here a lot lately for digital drawing, and this particular restaurant seem to be catching onto that. I feel happy when I see their familiar faces, and i hope the feeling is mutual. I have Asperger Syndrome, and sometimes I feel like I ask too many questions. They are forgiving and patient and I’m thankful that they are so nice to me. I had a bad experience here years ago cuz I overheard some teenage girls making fun of me. However, I haven’t had any bad experience like that since I’ve moved back to this area. I noticed that the managers are different people, and I think they’re doing a good job leading the team (from what I can tell) ❤️”

I drove to the place and found it was in a questionable part of town and on a Saturday night, no one was there and I thought uh oh. Already committed, I went in and ordered a small Sal’s stuffed pizza with extra sauce. The pizza was astoundingly delicious and made me wonder why the people of Kenosha aren’t frequenting this place. Based on my long history of eating all kinds of pizzas, there should have been a line out the door! Well done Sal’s!”

“I just have to make a statement that wrote a bad review and her name is Stephanie oberg she is not my blood but related to me through my cousin. It’s so embarrassing that you always have someone in the family that you just can’t make happy and she made a bad statement that Bread was not on the table. They were in the wrong section and rolled eyes at them And the service was bad. Do you know the funny thing is we had my and this was for a funeral for my grandmother a few months before this we had her 98th birthday, which was wonderful caleb even saying happy birthday in Italian to her. They were absolutely amazing and because a lot of my family members, including my grandfather were presidents female and males and been going there since I was young with my grandfather, and I have one of the biggest families in Kenosha, so for someone that is married to my cousin to post this bad review, it’s really hurtful, but I guess you have those kinds of people in the world that can never be happy but let me tell you this when she said to move to another section and they rolled her eyes. That was me because she was in a section that she wasn’t supposed to belong to because all the bread was nice and hot with the oil waiting over there. She open the door and went into a section. She shouldn’t be that’s why there was the door was closed so I helped with so much also because our cousin Crystal blood Cousin was waiting on us. She was wonderful and because I am comfortable with the Italian American because I’ve been there for 50 years through my family I wanted to help I bought freshwater all the time with her. There was hot bread three at every table Crystal was and Caleb and I for my grandmother and family helping the food was excellent as always and she’s gone now, but one thing I can say because that comment that she posted just really hurt me. My grandmother told me she loved the Italian American and my aunt and uncles always had great. You just get so much food that you can bring home and Nancy is an amazing cook. Nancy even came out from the kitchen to say hello to all of us while she was so busy I was even helping giving fresh water and you complain about bread that wasn’t on the table and someone rolled their eyes and you’re lying because it was me your cousin that told you you’re in the wrong section I’m helping you out, dear. Why were you over there? You had no business being there. I was trying to help my family. We’re grieving getting in the right spot on the table fresh out of the oven and I never rolled my eyes. You’re my cousin, but I’m very ashamed of you but I guess you always have that one in the family that is just never happy but I definitely know this is probably going to cause problems in my family, but I’m sticking up for the Italian American and the hard workers that work there so I’m going against my cousin because she’s lying. I love you Italian American Nancy works with you on prices even if you don’t have that much money and you want something nice she truly works with you. They have such great food. Caleb is so wonderful. He’s a wonderful bartender and even his voice he sings. He came in saying three times one in Italian Ave Maria and other songs because I asked him to to my grandmother and she cried on her birthday Crystal hard worker, but the bus boys they came constantly and got stuff off the tables I even helped and I didn’t need to I just wanted to because I love the Italian American so I’m sorry this is so long but I definitely had to say something. I’m very upset because I’m embarrassed that was my cousin. She’s not blood, but that is my cousin and I’m gonna stick up for our great Italian American society.🇮🇹❤️🙏🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹”

The Wisconsin Old Fashioned (sweet, naturally) was spot on: smooth, balanced, and exactly what a proper WI old fashioned should be. Then came the shareables: Buffalo chicken egg rolls—crispy perfection with the ideal shell-to-filling ratio. Bucket of Balls (yes, it’s fun to say)—tender, juicy meatballs swimming in a zippy marinara we shamelessly dipped everything into. Steak quesadilla with salsa that could win awards. Rich, smoky, flavorful—it nearly upstaged the quesadilla itself. Special shoutout to our waitress, Lainy, who was an absolute gem—super friendly, incredibly attentive, and spot-on with her recommendations. She definitely added to the vibe and made the visit even better. This one’s officially on the must-stop list for all future Kenosha trips. Some of the best tacos and gorditas I’ve had in Wisconsin so far, and the prices were great! Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and made to order. We ended up getting two taco plates and two gorditas, and everything was absolutely delicious.

We got there right as they opened, so they were still getting everything set up for the day and didn’t have the horchata or elote ready yet. Honestly, that just gives me another reason to come back because I definitely want to try both!

“This Culver’s is very well managed and the cashiers are super polite. The assistant manager duty today was very kind and understanding on when my sister spilled her drink. “Over the last 3 weeks working in Kenosha M-F and staying at the hotel I had the pleasure of stopping in a number of times and loved the place. It was fantastic to have a few relaxing beers and some food. The bartenders were very nice and the atmosphere was great. Place was clean and just all around fun to be there.... sorry I didn't stop in a bit more while I was there 👍”

“I LOVE that there is a Baskin-Robins in Kenosha 💜 It has always been my favorite ice cream!! I believe there’s also a Dunkin at this location. They have a really nice size freezer of quart size pre-packed ice cream for a better price than the grocery store. We ordered sundaes and took two quarts with us - we will be back!!”
