“Great location at the marina for a nice view of the lake. It's the perfect place to sit for a beer to relax, inside or out. It would be helpful if there were some umbrellas or coverings for the outdoor seating. It gets pretty toasty out there. Beers are great. Love the hefeweizen! Perfect for the summer.”

“We stopped by for drinks and muffins! We are from NS. Canada! Our son lives nearby and highly recommended this coffee shop! We were not disappointed! We were greeted by friendly and kind people! We even had the door opened for us! We felt so welcomed! The muffins were huge and scrumptious! The iced lavender latte was excellent! My son says it is the best in the Kenosha, Winthrop Harbour area! The Americana was also great! Everything taste so fresh! Will definitely make this one of our stops whenever we are in the area?????So thankful that God gives us places and times of refreshing????”

“I've been ordering from Roma for a little while now. Everything I ordered has been delicious, fresh and top notch. I've had their pizza which is the best over this way. “Basic shack looking bar in Winthrop Harbor. It doesn't look like much. The Tavern On Sheridan has great drink prices though. Fun place for watching games. Pretty much that's about all there is it seems. About the drinks. It has tons of specials. These go on throughout the week. Last time it had quite a few. Very cheap stuff. Beers come in bottles or cans. The beers are mostly basic but there's a few crafts though. It was $2.75 for Jaeger. The other specials were this price or not a lot. Good bar. It looks crappy from the outside. The inside isn't a lot better but it has a coziness to it though.”

“Lunch with family was great catching up! Had a Mushroom Swiss burger, and it was perfect! We were waited on quickly food was hot delicious and generous portions. Casual dress is fine with us! I don't remember waitress's name (my bad) but she was happy and attentive. Will go back for sure, it is a go to family place!”

Not sure why they won't let customers use them. It is a little expensive and the portion I got was small. “I wanted a relaxing lunch, looking out at the boats and the water.It would’ve been more relaxing, if a situation had been handled better with an elderly patron and his dog. Reason why four stars.My chicken tenders were the best I think I have ever had.I loved the batter on them. The coleslaw was good also, so was my margarita !!Unfortunately, just about everything has breading and my friend is allergic to gluten, so he just had the cold shrimp.”

“We are from WI and found Big Ed's because it was close to the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately they we out of a few favorites but we found others and all 3 meals were outstanding. I had a full rack of ribs which were amazing and the wings were just as good. Service was great and super friendly...every employee was helpful and had smiles on their faces. Love the mom and pop local family business and already planning trips back to try the favorites they were out of as well as past the word on to everyone we know that loves BBQ. Well worth the hour drive!”

“I want to say I was very welcomed in, the staff were amazing once they weren’t so hectic with all the guests and reservations they had for a Saturday/St Patrick’s day. Very wonderful family atmosphere. I didn’t have any food, and the drink selection was amazing. The axe throwing is a must, especially if you were like me and haven’t thrown an axe before. Staff trained well on safety and guidelines. I even had gotten to meet one of the owners; she was amazing, friendly, plus willing to help in anyway that she could. Definitely will be back again!!! Also make sure you call in for axe throwing reservations. My friend and I were lucky to get a half hour session in last minute. They do fill up fast!!!”

“Our favorite cafe in Kenosha and NE Illinois area. Their espresso is fabulous. They serve breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious. Our favorite is the turkey pesto sandwich. The soup menu changes daily. The service is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable, very friendly, and efficient. The owners are wonderful people .Highly .”

“I had been told to come check out this place since it's opening and tonight I found myself with nowhere to be for a bit and early enough to catch them before they closed. I spent a good deal of time deciding what I was going to order (because it all sounded amazing!) and the owner kept checking on me (but not in a pushy way) and I finally decided on the Cheeze burger and the berry smoothie. The first sip was perfection, and it only got better from there. I waited just 2 or 3 minutes more and my burger was ready. Spent a short time in conversation with the owner, and even before biting into the burger, I knew I'd be back as soon as my schedule allowed. Great customer service, phenomenal food and a calming, beautiful atmosphere. Don't sleep on this place, people! 10 out of 10.”

“Delicious Socal rolls and potstickers! Went there for an appetizer with my favorite person (my husband) and it was delicious! The chips are hot, the Socal rolls were creamy with a nice blend of chicken, corns and beans with cream cheese. And the potstickers were very good. Joe was a great bartender and very friendly. “It's a very nice little place. We felt welcome for our party of 8. The carne asada fries are bomb. Also their mixed drinks have a lot to cater to your taste. I'm a fan of mezcal and they had plenty here. Also tried their smash burger and had a few 3 floyd beers. Staff was always attentive and friendly. I'd come here again to hangout for the reasonably priced menu and location.”

“in town for the weekend and lucky to be staying walking distance from Blak Coffee. I wanted somewhere quiet with a nice vibe to work and am happy to have found this spot. I love that it is Black-owned and local and the music is great (Tony! Toni! Tone! is in the radio now). There are wonderful photos of the owner's family and one of the best pictures of a young Michael Jackson. It's so welcoming. Next time I am in town I will be sure to stop back by.”
