We were put up here through City of Hope for my sons stem cell retraction. Beautiful hotel, rich in history, and clean environment. Great coffee in the morning & a nice little ice cream shop across the street. Plenty of close parking options as well. You are appreciated and your staffs hard work doesn't go unnoticed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I am eating a cinnamon roll that was not made today, and maybe not yesterday. It is stale to the point of being hard and breaks when I bite it. Fresh ingredients are out of stock at this cafe and the young lady who served us was obviously untrained and nervous. This is a business surviving only on travelers devoid of another option. Buy the peanut M&Ms in the hotel lobby and be happier.

Terrible disappointing experience. We've been before, but this was not good. Afrer studykng the menu for a few minutes, we ordered and then was informed they were out of bacon. Daughter ordered apple cinnamon muffin and was given banana nut. She's allergic to nuts. Asked for silver ware twice. Sandwich was supposed to come with fruit but we did not get it. Toasted bread was soggy. Way too expensive for the food we were given.

The staff is always super nice. The food is quite good too. They can get a little over run in the mornings, especially on the weekends, BUT they do pull over a few extra hands to help. It is a small operation so there can be a short wait when it is busy but it makes sense that the kitchen area is small given off breakfast volumes. The cafe is super cozy to relax in while enjoying your food and drink. Highly recommend the avocado toast and the pastries are always a treat with an afternoon coffee.

Kid-friendliness: Hot chocolate is good and they will make plain toast for the simple kiddos who don’t like regular breakfast food.

Nichole is an amazing batista at Cafe Stella! We loves our experience because of her! She has an outstanding, very personable warm personality! She made the entire experience wonderful and we felt so welcomed! She made all drinks 5 stars and we highly recommend coming here because of her! She is the bomb and we will be returning for our date again! She deserves a promotion and raise! Thank you again!

Stay and place was good. Both salads were forgotten first night in the 1844 restaurant. Then breakfast on Monday at the cafe eas hectic. One girl all by herself, then the register crashed and she has a king of people. Felt bad for her. More staff would deffinetly help it seems

I would encourage people to give this coffee shop a shot. Great people serving, extra helpful. Good coffee. Will return!

Went there as it looked as they had healthy breakfast choices. At 9am, already out of avocado (for avocado toast) and kale (kale berries smoothy) so I could not order any of the 2 only healthy options. I was very disappointed. Nice place though.

Stopped here twice during our stay at the Stella Hotel. Th first time they were closed, but the bartender from the adjoining restaurant made a fresh pot of coffee for us, which we greatly appreciated. The second time we had coffee a light snack (cranberry/lemon scone). Both were very good and the employees were especially nice. Although we weren't there long each time, both experiences were great. The staff went out of their way to help us and the food was very good. Definitely recommend the Cafe at the Stella if you're in the area.
