WOW WOW WOW! We got married at The Riviera in Lake Geneva on May 31, 2025, and choosing Chef David's as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made! They were on the venue’s approved list, and from our very first interaction, their communication stood out—they were quick to respond, super helpful, and offered thoughtful guidance based on their experience.
At our tasting, we absolutely fell in love with the food. Still, I couldn’t help but wonder how they’d be able to recreate that same deliciousness for over 100 guests. Somehow, they made it even better on our wedding day! We served a duet plate with chicken and sirloin, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, and we received nonstop compliments. So many guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had.
There was even a transition in our point of contact leading up to the big day, which could have been stressful—but Stephanie immediately hopped on a call with me and put all my worries to rest. Her professionalism and warmth meant the world to me.
We also used their bartender since our venue didn’t have a liquor license, and she was fantastic—friendly, efficient, and on top of everything.
Chef David’s truly went above and beyond. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Chef David's Catering was the upmost phenomenal catering experience I've ever been involved with. From the moment I called to inquire about our event the professional manner was displayed. We were planning an elegant backyard wedding dinner for close friends and family. Cathy helped me put together our dinner selection and let me tell you it was perfect. When we talked about dessert options Chef David himself offered up the most delicious Key Lime Cheesecake this side of Florida. The entire staff was professional and courteous. Carly was simply amazing to work with as well. Chef David, his wife Cathy, Carly and their staff arrived on time and served us and our guest the most delicious meal. All of our guests and ourselves were incredibly impressed with the meal and of course the dessert. After dinner was served Chef himself came out to greet us and our guests. I would so have them cater another event and I would recommend them without any reservations at all. Great working with you and your team Chef.

After struggling with finding the right caterer for my wedding I finally found chef David's. Let me tell you, they are the easiest caterer to deal with in my experience. When we had our phone call consultation we spoke directly to chef David himself and unlike other caterers I had spoken to where the phonecall lasted about 10 minutes we were on the phone with him for about 45 mins to an hour. He wanted to makes sure everything was what we would want, explained how everything worked as well. My husband and I would recommend them to anyone needing a caterer. Everyone we delt with on his team were very respectful and responded at a very timely manner. If I had more questions they had no problem with me calling them to confirm anything. And the food, it was the best food I have ever had Catered and guest still talk about how amazing the food was. Very fresh, not dried out, just all around perfect! We would definitely work with them again in the future!!
