Went there by myself. At first, I had Ordered two eggs OverMedium with a side order of ham. The waitress told me I would be better off ordering the classic breakfast for 10.50 which included ham, potatoes, and toast, I said ok. So to sum it up this is what I ordered. Classic breakfast, coffee, orange juice, and English muffin instead of toast. But isn't an English muffin a type of bread toasted? Anyway, my eggs were under cooked, running. Not over medium. I also received 2 pieces of ham? I mentioned to the waitress about the eggs. She put a new order in for the eggs. She brought the eggs and said these look better. Well, again eggs were uncooked. I continued to eat my muffin, ham which was good and potatoes. No eggs. I was a little disappointed. But, what really got me was the price. Classic Breakfast 10.50, orange juice 5.50, muffin 1.00 extra, ham 5.50, and coffee 4.00. I guess I paid extra for that extra piece of ham. Total : 27.43 plus tip = 35..00. This was more than the website said 10- 20 a person. Total rip.
Oh by the way, this morning, I made my own breakfast. 2 eggs, scrambled, coffee, English muffin probably cost me about $4. I love going out to breakfast once a week. But not anymore at this place!!!

I’ve been eyeballing this place for months and finally checked it out. I read that this place gets busy, so I came in at 7ish and had plenty of parking and no wait. Portions are huge, so come hungry. Food was good. Staff was friendly and attentive. The place has a good vibe, it’s clean, and nicely decorated. Prices are fair for what you get. Overall, a good spot in Kenosha and I’d come back.

Love it here❤️❤️
All the foods and drinks are good, and the staffs are very nice. There’s one also in Milwaukee but this place is my favorite. Would recommend 200%!!

I have been to this breakfast place a few times. The Mad Rooster is a central meeting zone for meeting my friends.
The food is okay but they charge a lot of money to be rushed out of the restaurant. On the last visit, we asked for more time to read the menu. She gave us literally 3 minutes. I was still eating when she brought a container for my unfinished food. She gave us the check right after she brought out our food. We typically go to a restaurant to eat and visit with our friends. After 25 minutes including our ordering time they tried to push us out the door. She interrupted us 3 more times to ask us if
we were done. We were not even there for an hour. The food isn’t good enough to be that expensive and to be forced out of the restaurant. I will NEVER go back.

This is my Husband & I’s favorite brunch spot! We even come here with a friend quite a bit too as this is also his favorite as well. I love breakfast & my husband loves lunch. There is something for everyone. You get a LOT for your $$ & the food is always delicious & quality never varies visit to visit. All the staff I’ve encountered has been extremely nice & knows the menu & restaurant very well. They have also taken great care of us and I would highly recommend Mad Rooster (& Surely have to lots of people!!) for anyone looking for a great brunch spot! 12/10!

I’ve got to give a shout-out to Monica at Mad Rooster Café. She is the best server, and her recommendation for the Golden Harvest Omelette was a game changer. This omelette is, in a word, sensational.
Description:** A fluffy egg omelette folded around tender, grilled salmon, sautéed spinach, roasted peppers, and a serrano onion spread. Layered with tangy goat cheese, which I substituted for feta, the dish gets a delightful twist.
Finish:** The topping of smoky chipotle Hollandaise adds just the right amount of bold, creamy heat, and crisp microgreens provide a fresh, peppery finish.
Flavor profile:** Rich and savory with a bright, zesty note from the chipotle Hollandaise and the feta (or goat cheese) tang. The salmon adds a luxurious, silky texture that elevates the entire plate.
Overall impression:** This is one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. The balance of textures and flavors is spot on, and Monica’s recommendation feels especially on-point.
If you’re in Kenosha and craving a standout breakfast or brunch dish, the Golden Harvest Omelette at Bad Rooster Café is a must-try. And yes—this could very well be the best omelette ever, at least in my book.

Just amazing.
No better staff in the restaurant business, where they go beyond the necessary service to make everyone happy. This is the protocol they need to use at every establishment.
The food is some of the best breakfast fares ever. The portion sizes are just satisfying and the taste is top notch.
The strawberry bliss is just something dreams are made for. The fruit is just yummy and the crepes just melt in your mouth.
