My family has been going here for a while now and it is now under new owner ship and the new owner is very nice. She is very accommodating and I never feel bad when dinning in with my kids because she is a great family friendly restaurant. It is a quiet, calm, clean environment and I love that she has things for the kids to keep them occupied while we are out as a family. will definitely be recommending this restaurant to others. Might I add the prices are amazing for the food you get and the portion sizes and everything comes out hot and fresh!

This place has gone down hill. Food is not good as it used to be. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and didnt get the sweet and sour sauce. I think they went to an answering service because the past few times I've called to order the woman who answers cant either hear or understand what Im saying. Constantly have to repeat myself. And the order is not put in timely.40 min after I placed my order, the delivery driver calls and asks if its OK to deliver my food in 30/45 min! I said no, its not ok. I got my food 15 min later. Doubt we will be ordering from here anymore.

I just moved in to the Kenosha area about a few months ago and decided to give this place a try today. Honestly , without trying to be too harsh , this was very bad. What makes it worse is the price I paid. The food was very salty. The Mongolian beef barely had any meat and just full of onions. The fried rice was salty along with the eggrolls too. Aside from the food the atmosphere inside was very dead, but I never judge a place strictly on looks . Quite frankly, the best I’ve had near Kenosha so far has been China house . I hope the owners take this feedback into consideration and wish them the best.

As someone who has traveled from Chicago to various areas recently, including Lake County and even Wisconsin, I’ve tried my fair share of Chinese food outside the city. Honestly, the options in Lake County didn’t come close to Chicago standards. However, while I was in the area and feeling hungry, I stopped by Ming Garden and I was pleasantly surprised! This is easily the best Chinese food I’ve had outside of Chicago in over a year. The staff was very friendly, the portions were generous, and the prices were excellent. If you’re looking for a great Chinese meal in the area, skip Lake County’s options and definitely give Ming Garden a try!

My wife and I love Asian food, and we have never been more disappointed. Everything had the texture of something that was made yesterday, the VEGIE delight has 1 whole pound of meet in it, the tofu is pink and hardly cooked like its just microwaved, and the bag that was handed to me was just covered inside out by the WORST general tso sauce I've ever had.

Disgusting! DON'T GO HERE.
Chen's Bistro is 1000000% times better.
I don't even know how this place is even open still.
I ordered with friends, because that's where they chose to go and I chose the General Tsos combo and the fried potstickers.
The potsticker sauce was like a malt vinegar, not the sauce you're supposed to get when ordering potstickers and I took one bite into the potsticker that was mostly dough and it looked uncooked. I'm praying I don't get sick.
The General Tsos is disgusting, as well.
It's all crunchy and seems like it's been sitting out all day.
I found a hair in my food, as well.
You could pay me to eat here and I would decline.
0/10 do NOT recommend. 🤢

Restaurantji Recommends
First time ordering from here and I won’t be doing that again. There was barely any meat in the Mongolian beef and the egg rolls tasted funny and salty and the dumplings were tasteless and doughy not even crunchy just soggy. For the amount we paid for the food was ridiculous because the food was not up to par.
Ordered General Tso's chicken. Each piece was about the size of a piece of popcorn, almost all breading and very little chicken. Many were hard and crunchy. The egg roll had a chemical taste to it. The dinner comes with a drink and the waiter brought me a can of soda, without a glass of ice, just the can. The water is served in plastic tumblers and no straws were given until asked for. The straws come without a wrapper. Once given our food, the waiter never checked back with us. I would not recommend eating there.

Recommended dishes: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg Roll 1, Sesame Chicken
I ordered my usual lunch - sweet and sour chicken with two extra egg rolls. What I got was cold fried rice, no extra egg rolls and a mound of greasy eggs laid on top of the fried rice, also greasy. When I returned home with the order, I noticed that the two extra egg rolls I paid for were missing. I called to complain and was told that the blob of greasy eggs actually cost more than the two egg rolls so I got a real deal! The whole meal tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The eggs went in the trash as they were inedible. After a few bites, I threw out the whole meal, except the one egg roll that came as part of the order. A real disappointment. Ming Garden has lost my business and that of my family and friends.
