Me and my family used to live above this place. There was a HUGE roach problem, and the owners flat up refused to fix it or call exterminators. Later, this turned into a lawsuit for child endangerment because of the roaches, and we had to move 2 states away. Also, the fire escape was missing multiple stairs, and there were many riots, so there were many safety hazards.

How is this place still open?
It's dirty and the staff seems like they don't want to even be there
As mentioned, the plates and utensils were dirty. Mentioned to the staff and they were mad at me for their inadequate basics
The food is awful and inedible. The fact salt is used at an abundance just to kill the awful taste isn't a good sign
Nostalgia is fine when it is followed with high standards but this is like beating a dead horse, you can't get anything out of this

I was at Olive tree restaurant for breakfast with my family about 5 years ago for the first time and we got about every month now I definitely recommend the omelets and the skillets, and of course the Euro's they the best I have ever had and it’s one of the best sit down restaurants in down town Kenosha far better than Frank’s.
First of all the lady talking about that bug by the front door was a dead June bug. The street lights and the light from the sign attrack them. Olive Tree Restaurant is a great place for Breakfast and lunch. I Have been eating at Olive Tree Restaurant for 20 years. Talking to an older gentleman who is a customer in restaurant said the lady talking about that dead June bug by the front door was an old employee who was not showing up for work
Such a wonderful restaurant downtown. The waitress is always friendly. Food is good and well priced. It's a good place to get away from big restaurants. A family feel.

First red flag were dead roaches by the entrance on further waiting for food the real ones started to appear. I tried to reason by saying sometimes people bring in things but the baby roach in stuck to my water cup was it. We knew we couldnt be the only ones. On further review checking being infested with roaches in know for this restaurant. Next time i will check the reviews!

First visit to this restaurant. Vintage downtown Kenosha. Excellent, friendly service. The meal was delivered to the table hot and to order. Excellent value, our meal with coffee was less expensive than others in the neighborhood.

This place is so good , very authentic tasting food . Incredibly sweet waitresses! Definitely worth coming to try .
Kid-friendliness: I only seen one highchair, but the waitress was so friendly to my son . They let me make changes to the food for things he can’t eat . No fresh fruit sadly.
