Ono Kenosha Sushi Restaurant & Bar

Ono is my favorite sushi restaurant. It’s definitely my go-to spot to recommend folks visiting Kenosha! The food is always delicious, and the service is great! Everyone is kind and welcoming and the bar is super comfortable. Never a bad meal 🙏🏻

One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve eaten at even comparing it to Chicago and Milwaukee restaurants. The owner was amazing and stopped by our table to say hi. The staff were efficient and friendly, but the food was amazing!! Definitely worth it and we will be going back!!!

We gave them a heads up we were celebrating an anniversary & birthday - bubbly served as we sat down was a wonderful surprise! Our server, Taylor, was attentive & delightful. The veggie steamed dumplings were delicious - our entire meal was spot on & a birthday dessert a lovely surprise. Love the cucumber martini. Our sashimi took a bit of time to arrive, but well worth the wait. Highly recommend Ono!

If you haven’t been to Ono in Kenosha, you’re missing out on one of the most exciting dining spots in the area. From the moment you sit down, the vibe is sleek yet inviting—perfect for a night out with friends or a special date.

First off: the cocktails are next-level. Balanced, creative, and flat-out delicious. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill bar drinks—every sip feels like it was crafted with intention. The presentation matches the flavor too, which makes the whole experience pop.

And let’s talk about the oyster shooter—WOW. It’s fresh, bold, and layered with flavor in a way that makes you want to order a second immediately. It’s the kind of shot that sets the tone for the entire night.

Now, onto the stars of the show: the special rolls. The Everything Bagel Roll is genius—imagine your favorite brunch staple reimagined as sushi, with creamy, savory perfection in every bite. Then there’s the On the Rocks Roll, which might just be the most addictive roll I’ve ever tried. Flavor-packed, perfectly balanced, and downright unforgettable.

Every plate that came out of the kitchen was a stunner. Ono doesn’t just serve sushi; they serve an experience. Between the cocktails, the shooters, and those wildly creative rolls, this is hands-down my new favorite spot in Kenosha.

Run, don’t walk. Ono is the real deal.

We were first time visitors and we will certainly be back many times in the future! The ambience and environment were very welcoming but nothing compared to the quality and taste of the food. We were absolutely blown away by how delicious everything was. Addie (Addison) was so polite and professional! She really helped make this a great experience.

When craving sushi nothing else will satisfy until you have sushi. Yesterday I ordeed some Wisco Crunch Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Crunch Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll. They were all tasty, a little more rice than I would like, also, I would love some more fish but tasty overall.
First time ordering from them, I did order via Uber Eats, so kinda expensive for the quantity of food, but when you are craving you are craving. I dont know if I would order to-go again, but I will try to go there in person and try some more dishes, after all the food was good.

Probably the best sushi restaurant within a 30 mile radius and not expensive. We tried so many dishes and the table had only good things to say about them all. The lycheetini and the Japanese old fashioned were good as well! We will be back.
