Run don’t walk away from this restaurant. Although our service was great, the food was borderline inedible. Vegetable soup was a cup of mushy cauliflower in water. Lemon rice soup was too salty to eat. Sandwiches (club, chicken salad) weren’t very good either.

Very old, rundown, bags of chips in the display cases. Had a skillet and there was so many onions in it I could not eat it and it was dripping with oil. My husband had a hamburger and the seasoning was so bad he did not eat it. 30 minutes later we were both on the porcelain chair for 3 days. It needs and update, a dusting, even the parking lot looks rundown

While it's a little hard to get into, and the interior is very dated, the place is clean and we were greeted right away by the owner. The menu is very large, with something for everyone. Our server was great, bringing us drinks including a scratch made shake while we waded through the selections. We ordered the fresh cherry crepes, gyro sandwich, and jumbo shrimp. The lemon rice soup was very good. All of us really enjoyed our dinners. The portions are very large and priced well.
Classic family restaurant with homestyle and comforting food. The Athenian Chicken was out of this world! Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

We’re from out of state and intended to visit a different restaurant but it wasn’t a good fit for my autistic daughter. We drove past Phoenix Family Restaurant and decided to check it out! It wasn’t busy at that moment so our food was ready fast and it was delicious. My husband ordered the taco salad and it was massive. I had the turkey and ham croissant and my daughter had chicken tenders. Mine came with soup so I chose chicken and rice and loved it. My daughter’s meal came with ice cream and she was so happy. The service was great, Cheryl checked on us and kept our drinks full. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, it was just what we needed. Next time we are back in Kenosha we will be eating here!

My 96 yr old mother loves the cherry crepes. The pancakes are really good. The lunch items are just ok. The one thing that is bad is the handy cap ramp. My mom is old and uses a walker and the ramp is way on the east side of the bldg. The ramp has a ledge that she has to lift her walker up to get onto it and there are many large cracks that she could fall over if we didn't hang onto her. Very dangerous! There should ve a ramp in front of the door.
