The brews are great. They offer a nice dark lager and a hazelnut brew. Solid beers with solid flavor. Took a quart home with me. I tried the shredded chicken street tacos. Hella good.

Beer was very good overall, and the hazelnut harvest and oktobierfest were both excellent. Food was solid, could've just used a touch more au jus with the Italian beef. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try

Good beer. Decent bar food. I appreciate that they have a bit larger menu than other bars/breweries in the neighborhood…. Helps when you have a larger group to feed. We had sliders, wings and tacos… all were good.

Excellent selection of beers. It isn’t just a line-up of IPA’s. The Hazelnut Harvest was so rich & full of Carmel notes. The Tangerine Dream was one of a kind. We really enjoyed our time here. Their Kolsch was bright & crisp, traditional fruitiness with a nice balance of malt to hop, well done.

This place checks all the boxes. Great service, good beers, quick and friendly service. I showed up on a Friday at 4:30 and grabbed a spot at the bar. After a few generous samples I ordered the Dunkel and the bartender said "what flavor would you like for your wings?" Monday thru Friday from 4-6pm you get 3 wings with each pint purchase (they gave me 4 both times). The parmesan garlic and Thai peanut were both delicious and huge. Come on down to Rustic Road!

Used to enjoy coming here, but had a terrible experience with the staff. Used to be pretty cool with them and went regularly, but one of the bartenders started spreading rumors about my girlfriend not paying her tab (she had a receipt for the meal in question), found out separately from one of the other bartenders. It seems the rumors were spread to more than just the staff as well, one of the regular performers who my girlfriend once enjoyed talking to suddenly stopped acknowledging her completely when we tried going back later.
We were upset so we confronted the manager and the manager went off instead. Confronted him later separately and he admitted he felt bad, but never formally attempted to apologize to my girlfriend. Either way the damage had been done.
It's a shame because I enjoyed the place for a while, the beers are some of my favorite and the food is decent enough and I used to enjoy the vibe, but the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I can't imagine going back even with a full staff change.
This happened a quiet a while ago, but I felt it was important to let people know.
Went with my wife tonight as she was excited to go, as earlier in the week she was there for first time with our daughter. Thought atmosphere was very nice as we sat outside. However, we placed our order very quickly but somehow our order was either misplaced or lost. As we waited a long time for our food. The waitress/ bartender had to come out and re-ask what our order was. So it was over an hour before food arrived, which was good but would have more enjoyable being to relax and eat. Others that came after us were served and had left. Hopefully this was a onetime occurrence and will try again in the future.

Came in on a Monday and wasn't expecting such a large crowd. The staff did a tremendous job of keeping everybody serviced. This was no small feat and we are glad they had the work ethic they did. By the way, everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious and the brew offerings were tasty as always.

Great small brewery in downtown Kenosha. Very cool atmosphere with exposed ceilings, reclaimed woods, copper bar top, and some decent tunes plus some space to sit outfront on nice days. They had 14 of their beers on for my visit including: a Kentucky common, imperial IPA, imperial blonde, American pale ale, English pale ale, Belgian Tripel, farmhouse, hazy IPA, a hazelnut Imperial Red, Irish extra stout, maibock, Bock, and a pilsner for those looking for something lighter. They have liquor, wine, and seltzer. They do have food as well with sandwiches, tacos, and apps....that is good because some of their beer is pretty big if you are not used to these ABVs. For their beers, all were good, but the standout was that imperial hazelnut red for me, the bocks were both very good, and I could see the imperial blonde sneaking up on someone, it is pretty smooth. If you like beer and are near Kenosha put Rustic road on your to-do list.
