The only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I missed out. We tried several menu items (those cheese curds and the custard daaaang! Those were our favorites) that we loved, but they were out of a whole bunch of stuff that I really wanted to try. All the chili options and the sloppy Joe stuff. I mean, what I eventually settled on was a meatball sub that was delicious, but I think I went through 5 menu items first. Super kudos to the sweet girl behind the counter who tried to make the best of my unfortunate choices. :D Anyway - if I'm ever in that part of the country again, I'd totally go back.Also, grateful for the outdoor seating so our dog could hang out with us (and the incredibly nice family who saw we needed to be outside, so they wrapped up their meal to let us sit there).

I came in to the restaurant at 8:40 on Friday. All the chairs were up on the tables already, even though closing time was 20 minutes away. The girl behind the counter said “We are kind of closed.” The man in front of me said he would eat outside. The employee was clearly angry about serving customers 20 minutes before closing. She yelled at her co worker to lock the doors so no one else can come in. This was at 8:43!!! When I asked for a funnel cake, she said they can’t make it this late!! I told her to just forget it. I tried to leave, but had to wait to have the employee unlock the doors. All in all, so disappointed. This kind of behavior isn’t allowed in the real world. Walgreens down the street doesn’t lock out their customers 20 minutes before they close. Olive Garden doesn’t lock their doors 20 minutes before closing either. I am a teacher and I don’t close my door 20 minutes before dismissal! Shameful. ☹️

I ordered my food and asked the cashier to not add certain things with the order because I didn't want them. Well she did anyway, so I asked for a refund. Get this they refunded me my money and then still charged my card for the meal. So in reality, I still paid for a meal that I didn't eat or accept. The meal never touched my hands or even left the restaurant. How do you refund someone, and turn around just to take it back? Also I still have both receipts. Bad for business.

The girls working in the back were clearly working as hard and as fast as they could. There was a line out to Sherdian and they still held their cool with the guests inside and the pace of service. This local restaurant is definitely a staple in Kenosha...they've kind of been through hell and back in the last ten years and they still maintain delish hot food and an out of this world ice cream menu!

They closed at 9pm tonight, was in like since 845, however when I got up to the speaker it was 9:01. They stopped taking orders because they turn their machines off at exactly 9. I worked at shirls all throughout high school and this was never a thing. I understand there needs to be a cutoff time, but if someone is in line before they close they should be served. I’ll just go to Culver’s from now on.
They was slow they treated me like I wasn't paying and went out back door to serve another customer and my food was right on the counter

If you want to find the best ice cream mix, I'd recommend this place. Their workers are super kind and courteous. Their food is delicious as well, but I've only had a few items. Highly recommend this place!

I usually love this place. But I just paid $20 for two Butterfinger polar blast and a Sunday. The polar blasts are like six dollars each and there was nothing in them but vanilla ice cream. If I wanted vanilla ice cream I would have bought twice as much from the store for 4 dollars instead of 20. Not happy at all
