My recent visit to Slip 56 was, unfortunately, a deeply disappointing experience that left much to be desired. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. The music was loud, disco-style tracks that was in no way reflective of the clientele. The lighting was so dim coupled with black paint throughout made it seem like dining in a cave. To make matters worse, the table & menus were sticky, raising immediate concerns about cleanliness. The presentation of the food only added to the disappointment. The fries were lukewarm on the outside but cold on the inside, as if they’d been sitting out for too long before being served. The calamari was an even bigger letdown—void of any taste, soggy, and completely lacking the crispiness you’d expect. Service was another low point. Our water glasses sat empty for the entire meal and had to flag ‘em down for the check. I’d recommend steering clear until some serious improvements are made.

We tried new food and everything we had was so good! The loaded potatoes for appetizers was really good. Wish we could have a little bit more. My husband got steak tacos which were very good and I got a chicken sandwich which was Saturday special which is filling but wonderful. Definitely coming back!

My daughter and I enjoyed our dinner tonight. It was hoppin’ for a Wednesday night, but we only waited 10 minutes for a table. Our server.Kasey, was friendly, cheerful and very accommodating. The boneless chicken wings and tater tots did not disappoint. I had a pomegranate martini that was delicious. They certainly did not skimp on the vodka.
Enjoyed the place but the backwards hat dudes were loud and annoying.

Idk the blonde waitress came off as “racist” like she was our waiter at 1st then switched with the Hispanic Indian looking lady . Which was cool because she was GREAT !!! The food was good and the vibe was okay . Would I go again YES ! only for the food though I wouldn’t go again for the service .
