Im trying to figure out why do I have to spen money with a $20 gift card gifted to me for a free meal at this place. Seems that you have to spend over 25$ to even use the gift card is insane.. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE staff seem to act like they didn't even know there own policies

My fiancee and I have been coming to Sooshibay for quite a while now! Our server was Taylor, she was absolutely FANTASTIC! She refilled our drinks 3+ times, always asked how we were doing, and even brought us extra sweet and sour sauce for our order of Crab Ragoons! We also had the Pork Tonkotsu and Chicken Ramen which were delicious! I also signed up for their (newer?) rewards program! Overall, Sooshibay has never disappointed when I need a fixing for good sushi!

90 dollars for two people is too expensive. The sushi was no better than any all you can eat sushi place i have been to.

The sushi on the conveyor belt was amazing. The only thing that would be better is if the description of each plate was a little bigger to read. Lots of great options so you can try all different kinds of rolls and sashimi.

I had heard good things about Sooshibay and really wanted to check it out. I was very happy with the overall experience and the look of the place. Nice look and friendly staff but a couple things could have been better.
The conveyor was cool and convenient but it was difficult to read the descriptions coming by. Would also have been a nice touch to have a screen or barrier between the sides of the conveyor. Staring at people in the booth on the other side of the conveyor while trying to see what was going by felt like I was sitting with them. This would have also prevented people from reaching across to grab an item in my area... They do have a section that faces the conveyor - that might be a nice option.
The other thing I wish is that I had a menu to see what other rolls I could order from the kitchen. The small menu we were given showed some appetizers and basic items but I saw a more detailed menu when I was getting ready to leave. The only other negative is that the waiter was not great about coming back for drinks and left us waiting for the check to be completed. He probably should have said to take care of it at the desk if he was busy. Instead he said that he could take care of it.
Overall - worth the stop. Food was great and the place is open and comfortable. Plates can add up quickly but the prices aren't bad compared to a full size roll AND you get to try a variety of options.

Typical Japanese style sushi bar with conveyor carrying various types of sushi and sashimi with descriptions of each. Excellent, fresh food.

Perspective: I've been to the Sushi go rounds in Japan so if that's the flair you are looking for look no further. They hit that on the money. Normally I go to Honada for my Sushi and Sashimi and that is made to order, though it is cold fish as many sushi places are. I feel that detracts from the flavor but what else are you supposed to get in Kenosha. Shooshibay items from the belt get a chance to warm up so the flavor is a smidge better. They have all the flavors you are looking for. Sashimi is a bit on the light size in dishes, they have the salmon but not much more. The rest is accompanied by rice underneath. Appetizers are made to order and beer is reasonably priced. Service is decent, for a self serve place. Options for eating outside in nicer weather are there but obviously that is more table service. There were probably 30 patrons in there on a Sunday at 8, so I can imagine it will be full in peak times. The place is clean and the staff is nice. There are vegetarian sushi options as well. The place is big and vibrant so it will get loud at peak. $2.50, 3.50, 4.50, 5.50, 6.50, pay by plate sushi or sashimi. Decent experience, I will be going back. I had three plates and edamame and miso soup with a beer, which was 30$+ tip. Expect that per person. They had a points card to get discounts. Also there is a 2-5 happy hour with 50% drinks. Enjoy!!
