So polite and professional.
Very charming and personal, the owner was very friendly. Food was fresh and good, nice portion sizes. You will definitely have leftovers!
Nice local restaurant has been here for years. Wife and I started to come here a few times the past few weeks and have enjoyed their breakfast. We recommend you give it a try.
The food was great in my opinion and I really like their soup, so much that I bought a large to take home. The cream and potato soup is one of my favorites. All the food came out fast as well. The owner is really nice and the waitress I had was very outgoing and made the place feel even more comfortable. Tammy was her name and she’s awesome! It’s a family oriented restaurant that I recommend.
My husband and I stopped in for breakfast per usual. We have never had a problem with the food or service before today. The food was excellent, that was not the problem. The server on the other hand..... She seemed distracted or something. She left our food in the window while she talked to the other server, then to a customer at the counter. After she finally decided to bring our food out,she never came back to check on us. She finally came after we were finished and asked if we wanted a box. Now all of that I can look past, but I WILl NOT let slide is ,she was talking to the other server dropping the f bomb, that wasn't even the worst part. She preceded to tell the other server, she didn't care for some customers that were there and said she leaves her walker in front of the table... like how am I supposed to pour the coffee. Omg! First of all it's not that poor elderly ladies fault she has to use a walker. I'm happy she is able to get out and go places. I was disgusted by her comment and I almost said something to her,but decided not to because I didn't want to cause a scene and trust me.. it would have been a scene! I wasn't gonna tip her at all,but me being a sever I left her a dollar in change. I was truly disappointed in this lady. I will be back because we love this place. I will ask for a different server if we should happen to end up with her.
Use to love going here but I think today is my last time. Didn’t get what I ordered and was overcharged. Second time and never again.
Update: went again with the kids super busy!!! It was still great for my picky daughter's, they loved it and the service was still fantastic!! Nafi himself was apologizing he thought it wasn't up to par, but it was!! We'll be back!!...... Wow what a great place, not fancy But you can't beat the food service or price. My daughter loved her banana pancakes and I did try them and they were magical I don't know how they do it . My omelette was so good, but I could only eat half which was great I could have the other half tomorrow! Service is great !!everybody's friendly, the big guy is walking around talking to people and filling coffee cups, nothing fancy just good food ,good people and a great price !and kind of a Kenosha icon.

If I could give 0 starts I would. The service and hospitality is ridiculous. My family and I came in (party of 11) we came in all different times , we ordered our drinks some of us had to wait until we got our food. We had to ask for our soup because some of us didn’t get it. The server had an attitude the whole time. As we were leaving we asked to have the check split and the OWNER refused. The owner’s exact words were, “it’s going to be on one check so someone better give me a card”. No where in the restaurant or on the menu said we can’t split the check. She was being plan out lazy. When we continued to ask to split the check, the owner’s husband pushed my sister out the door while she was holding her 4 month old baby. This business is a joke.

Cute little restaurant, perfect for family dining. The establishment is clean, food is amazing and prices are very reasonable for this day and age. Great local family owned business that deserves your support!

This is a great little underrated spot for great food at an affordable price. Maybe in the shadows of the Gateway, just down the street, this is a spot you should make a destination when you want a solid breakfast, swerved fast and friendly knowing the portions are going to be fair and plentiful. The restaurant is clean, local history on the wall and the menu has plenty of meal choices. The staff was kind and attentive and you could tell the family was on hand to ensure the guests were satisfied. Don’t sleep on Springwood. This should definitely be in your breakfast and lunch rotation.
