My husband and I come here probably once a week. I often came here with my dad as a kid maybe 20 years ago, and hes come here for around 30!
Nafi, his wife, and the waitresses are always so kind! We always get to chat with nafi and his wife, he comes around to the table to say hi and see how our food is.
The food is great, I usually get one of the same 3 things every time I go as I'm picky. I get the chicken breast sandwich, strawberry crepes with whipped cream or the vegetarian skillet with cheddar instead of mozzarella and scrambled eggs on top. I cant eat eggs but however they make the skillet is the only way I can manage to eat them😂 The chicken dumpling soup is amazing, I moved away for a few years and craved that soup the entire time.
The prices are pretty dang good, I can get breakfast for myself before work for about 10 bucks, 25 with my husband.
If youre looking for a nice family diner to go to for breakfast or lunch, go to nafi's!!!!

Nafi (The owner) and his wife are almost always there and are very kind. Nafi loves to come around and say hi and crack jokes. It's nice that they care so much about their customers and love interacting with them. Food is pretty tasty here. I usually get omlets or pancakes, and I love them. Also, very cheap food. Me and my wife come here a lot, and we usually spend 20-30 bucks on the both of us.

The food was great in my opinion and I really like their soup, so much that I bought a large to take home. The cream and potato soup is one of my favorites. All the food came out fast as well. The owner is really nice and the waitress I had was very outgoing and made the place feel even more comfortable. Tammy was her name and she’s awesome! It’s a family oriented restaurant that I recommend.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast per usual. We have never had a problem with the food or service before today. The food was excellent, that was not the problem. The server on the other hand..... She seemed distracted or something. She left our food in the window while she talked to the other server, then to a customer at the counter. After she finally decided to bring our food out,she never came back to check on us. She finally came after we were finished and asked if we wanted a box. Now all of that I can look past, but I WILl NOT let slide is ,she was talking to the other server dropping the f bomb, that wasn't even the worst part. She preceded to tell the other server, she didn't care for some customers that were there and said she leaves her walker in front of the table... like how am I supposed to pour the coffee. Omg! First of all it's not that poor elderly ladies fault she has to use a walker. I'm happy she is able to get out and go places. I was disgusted by her comment and I almost said something to her,but decided not to because I didn't want to cause a scene and trust me.. it would have been a scene! I wasn't gonna tip her at all,but me being a sever I left her a dollar in change. I was truly disappointed in this lady. I will be back because we love this place. I will ask for a different server if we should happen to end up with her.

Update: went again with the kids super busy!!! It was still great for my picky daughter's, they loved it and the service was still fantastic!! Nafi himself was apologizing he thought it wasn't up to par, but it was!! We'll be back!!...... Wow what a great place, not fancy But you can't beat the food service or price. My daughter loved her banana pancakes and I did try them and they were magical I don't know how they do it . My omelette was so good, but I could only eat half which was great I could have the other half tomorrow! Service is great !!everybody's friendly, the big guy is walking around talking to people and filling coffee cups, nothing fancy just good food ,good people and a great price !and kind of a Kenosha icon.
