Unbelievable. The service here is horrible. About 2 weeks ago I was in drive thru for over 25 minutes during heavy rain. I called and was told that they were having problems with the beef. I wound up calling them after I placed my order saying I was leaving the drive thru because nothing was moving. Horrible service. I called and spoke with "John" the owner who never really apologized but said that isn't the way they do business and offered to send me gift certificates so I would come in and try them. We are new to Kenosha and it would be nice to have a great place for dogs and beef. John sent me a gift certificate for 2 Chicago dogs. So tonight I call ahead for my 4 dogs letting them know that I have a gift certificate for 2 of them. I am instantly told there are no gift certificates. I tell the girl that I have something signed by Monica after a conversation with John. She tells me John is no longer the owner and puts "dan" on the phone. Dan is johns son and the new owner who tells me that he will have to check with John before honoring the gift certificate. I told him that it wasn't a problem as we would not be back. So does dan think that people are stealing for 2 hotdogs? And more importantly if he knew how I had been treated why didn't he change his tone to save my business? Please pay attention to this establishment. We have the right to be treated well when doing business locally. Chains are all around us and dependable as they have standards. Beware. You aren't valued here.

Why did we wait so long to come back to one of our fav places for great tacos and other selections??! My husband had the Beef soft tacos (devoured them) and I had the Enchilada Dinner (Scrumptious Delish). The service was commendable and the portions, well enough plus! We looked at each other and agreed... back to a continuous place to come back too!!! And Hey, the price! Very reasonable ... kudos

Called for delivery, rude gal, said it would be an hour. Food came in about 30 minutes, and was cold. Paid cash. After eating, the driver comes back and says I have her $. I check, and I had exactly what I should have left. She storms off swearing. Now I am upset. Cleaned up the dinner stuff, find the receipt, and there is $20 obviously handed to me with the receipt and new menu. It's not mine, so I call to let them know I have it, and they can pick it up. At first am accused of grabbing the money from the driver, and slamming the door in her face (neither happened). Then am told it was the drivers fault, and since I order often, not to worry about it. 5 minutes later they send the police to my house! I met the cop at the door with their money, and apologized for wasting police time and taxpayer money over their error. Needless to say, I will not order again. Usually at least once a month, plus get big groups from work to order. We'll enjoy better food elsewhere...along with pleasant service.

Kenosha staple. I've been going here for years and they never disappoint. They have great gyros also. The people here are the nicest and I always come back.

It took me about 20 years but I finally stopped in. Because of the name, I didn't realize they had an extensive list of hotdogs, sides as well as burgers and hot beef. I'm sad it took me so long to realize we have a Chicago dog place in town. Obviously there not a huge inside seating area. But the 4 booths, high table and bar seating gave patrons plenty of options to eat as they donned in during the lunch hour. I'll be back and try the hotdogs next time.

I've grown up eating here as its in the neighborhood. Although the front counter staff may not always seem excited to be there, I have never ever had a complaint. My food is always fresh and delicious whether I pick up or get it delivered. I think it's super cool that 90% of the time, my food is delivered by the owner himself! If ya want fast and tasty tacos/Chicago style grub, stop in FOR SURE.

Taco city is a great fast-food, authentic, Mexican restaurant. I personally love their taco salad and their cinnamon chips are to die for! It's not in the most convenient location but it's a great spot for a quick lunch!

The owner is a dirt bag ! He threw trash on my street after he made a delivery . I called him about it , " Your going to cry about one piece of paper " He called me a few other names and hung up. Please don't eat there, this guy doesn't care about Kenosha.
Terrible customer service from the owners and the sons on numerous visits. I will never order delivery again, after a 2 hour wait I called and I must have reminded them of my order bcuz he then told me they were "starting it now"... i went thru the drive thru another time and waited over 5 mins noone ever came i finally left, and decided to call and complain, when i did that "the owner" got on the phone, and i began to explain he then stated that the drive thru was having issues and as i asked why there was no sign up or why they just let me sit there, he had a major attitude saying "what do you want me to do" over and over again, I then said his customer service skills were lacking and he hung up on me. I will never go there again and i will continue to tell people how rude and disrepectful they are with there customers.

I got a burger and fries and they were pretty darn solid. They hand make the patties which you don't see very often in fast food restaurants, so that was really nice. I'd definitely recommend the food, but purely as take out. Any of the negatives have to do with the actual restaurant and staff. The restaurant is really small. They have 4 booths...maybe, so good luck finding a table if they actually get busy. The staff had almost no personal skills. This doesn't mean they were rude or did a bad job, but they certainly didn't go out of their way to be helpful or friendly. They were just there.

I gotta say, I've been eating here for years. The food is AWESOME! Come back all the time. The guy who owns it is always friendly and greets us like it's been forever since he's seen us and is so happy for us to be back. However, the last couple of times I've been in, the owner has been a loud, foul mouthed douche bag. I've heard him yelling at his employees the last two times I was there, and the place is only about 50 feet x 20 feet in total space, you can hear EVERYTHING. And it's not like he's TRYING to be quiet, he's literally almost yelling. This time, I've been here 7 minutes and he's dropped the F bomb at the cash register, talking to the employee, twice now. I was 6 feet away. No class. No wonder every time I go in there, they have an entirely new staff. Treat your employees like s**** and they quit! Sad, cause they really do have good, basic food and a huge menu. Maybe the boss man just needs to get laid.
