There is no good taste here, where most of the sweets taste old and starchy
Then service, the very minimum is communication skills and I know they cater to the Latino community but when someone that doesn't speak Spanish enters the store, they are at a disadvantage.
To be honest, there should be laws that state language is a must for primary communication in English

My wife and I really had high hopes. Because we we love Mexican food but have yet to find a good Mexican Restaurant in Kenosha, which is hard to believe. The only acceptable restaurant is is in Franklin. Otherwise we go into Illinois. Now what is the story with the Good Taste. First don't expect a restaurant, It's not. You order at the counter which is ok, and find seat in their small seating area where they have a handful of tables. Since it really is not a restaurant you don't get chips and salsa. Which is what I was looking for. You can tell if a Mexican Restaurant is good by their chips and salsa. And they don't have any. You can get it small cups for 50 cents when you order. But no chips.They treat the Salsa like it was gold. I had three tacos, my only option was soft shell corn which I hate. There was hardly any filling of any sort in the taco's. I wish I took a picture. It was such a small amount I would say it was embarrassing. I brought two home to use my own taco shells , I had to use the contents of the two tacos, in one shell in an attempt to fill it and even then it was still embarrassing. My wifes burrito was more of what you would expect. But is was still incredibly bland. But even with this experience, the place was busy I don't know if that was for the ice cream or the food. I don't do reviews of any sort normally. But I felt I had to. This was so disappointing I have to give people a heads up. So they know what to expect. We drove in from Salem, which is a bit of a ride just to go here. Like I said they were busy so people must like them. Try it maybe you will too.

Never in my life have I been brought to tears from eating such delicious food in my whole life. The Good Taste had such heart and soul while I was there being such a nice restaurant! They should change their name from The Good Taste to The Best Taste to make it more accurate to how the food tastes.

The man working there threw my tacos in my face and I said ok thank you! Than I tell him my elotes are missing, he yells at me and says that “SHE IS GOING TO MAKE IT!!” and I complain to a worker about remaking my tacos and about his attitude and she throws my money and throws the food in the garbage and says don’t come back when my family has been going there for a long time, that’ll change!
