My wife and I arrived at J&M's last night at about 9pm. We asked if the kitchen was still open and they said they were just closing it up. The waitress ( found out she was really the owner) said she would ask the cook if we could still order something and came back and took an order for us. This was beyond what we expected when they told us the kitchen just closed. We were and are thankful for thier kindness and great customer service. We will be back, this time way before kitchen closing time. Thanks again!

Just love this place…friendly staff and patrons, ice cold fresh beer and great food (and prices)! Usually come for the fish fry and lobster bisque but also like the Theresa Melt and onion rings.

This was our first time here. We went to try their Friday fish fry and it was delicious. Madison was our waitress and was very pleasant and gave us good service. The place is so clean, even the restrooms. The owners were present and introduced themselves, which is always a plus. We will definitely come again, looking forward to trying some other menu items.

A business down the road suggested this bar and grille for lunch. I had a fine build-your-own burger. Cooked to true medium. Beefy and thick. The fries were perfect, a little dark, and sizzling in the basket. I had a Pabst to complete a most American meal. The bartender/waitress was nice and attentive to table cats and the bar crew. Excellent experience. Great looking interior. (cleanest men's room in the state). I will be back.

J&M Bar & Grill, the kind of place where Wisconsin charm meets Friday night fish fry perfection. First things first: the fish fry? Just like a blast from the past. This isn't pre-breaded frozen crap from food service companies. You can see the fillets are hand breaded and fried to order. I could see into the kitchen and the cook was doing a killer job. She had full control of the situation even though, at one point, I counted 12 orders waiting to be cooked. Even with it being that busy, you didn't wait long for food.
The servers? Absolute rockstars. They were friendly, hustling like they were trying to outrun last call, and somehow managed to keep the energy up with a smile—even when the place was packed like a Packer game tailgate. But the real show? The guy I think is the owner/manager. There he was, posted up at the end of the bar, drink in hand, supervising like a seasoned pro. Every few minutes, he'd call out, "Hustle up, don’t be so lazy!" while putting his feet up and settling in for another sip. Hey, every great team needs a good cheerleader, right? Fortunately, every single server just gave the shit right back to him!
J&M is cute, cozy, and delightfully rustic, with that true Wisconsin bar vibe we all know and love. It’s a little slice of fried heaven with a side of friendly chaos, and I can’t wait to come back.

Simply a great experience. Service was off the charts - so friendly. My wife picked this place as we were driving thru the area. As strangers they made us feel at home. Food was great as well. Give them a visit if you are in the area.

I love little dive bar type settings and this was no exception. The food is phenomenal too! I had their melt and it was fresh and juicy, their fries were hot and delicious! Added a Carbliss and it was a solid meal!
We are so happy they were able to reopen. Food is great. The owners are as down to earth as can be. Let's all pitch in and make them a success especially after what they have been through
