What more can you say great about this place...a Kenosha institution. The best pizza and Italian food in town. We always stop in whenever we are visiting.

We had reservations and still had to wait to be seated. Once we finally got our table and ordered our food. It took over an hour for our food to come out. People who sat after us were getting their food before us, and we were told food was almost done, multiple times. For a first time guest, it definitely isnt on my list of places to go back to.

Food was average at best. Service was very slow. We felt ignored half the time. We told the server we needed to be out by a certain time for a show and that didn't seem to matter.
Was very upset to see a credit card service fee and an AUTOMATIC 20% gratuity added on for a party of 4. Our service was terrible and didn't warrant a 20% tip.

Ordered pork chops. I'll pass on that next time. I'll stick with the pizza.

A marvellous local place right across the street from Lake Michigan. The food makes Villa D’ Carlo. Everyone needs a place like this in your neighbourhood.
The food is Italian, Villa D’Carlo Italian—what your mother made if she was Italian. ….yet they slipped in a few comfort items if you just not in the mood for Italian tonight. And if you don’t see it on the menu, ask. My wife asked about Eggplant Parmesan, and they made it. It was among her top 5, ever. Including places in Italy.
They respect the raw ingredients and make it happen. Service is great. They are watching, but don’t hover. Good diverse wine list and other drinks.
Get off the freeway. You and your people need the Villa D’ Carlo.

We have been coming to this place for over a decade. Really good pizza. However, we order a tiramisu. My husband was enjoying it till he had to split out some shrimp tail shells . We showed it to the waitress. She made a disgusted sound but didn’t take it off our bill!!! So disappointed! We had to ask for that to be removed from our bill.

I wish I had looked at recent reviews before wasting my money on a large pizza that had no flavor and a soggy crust. No cornmeal crust. Sad to see this restaurant I grew up with serve such bland, undercooked food.

Was here for a special occasion first time here ever and last. The food was bland could just made it at home. The carpet was disgusting who know if it's ever been cleaned but the waitress was attentive only good thing about the restaurant.

Over Rated. The food was bland. The waitress did not ask us if we wanted anything to drink. They gave us water, our pitcher was empty and she walked by 5-6 times and did not ask us if we wanted more, we had to stop her and ask for more water. She did not even ask us how our meal was until she gave us our togo boxes and our bill. Our meal came with a salad and the waitress did not ask us about what kind of salad dressing or even asked us if we wanted one.
Our waitress was wonderful and very kind however the food was alittle disappointing. The veal parmesan was alittle tough and unfortunately the pasta sauce seemed to have little to no flavor to it. It was the first time back in the restaurant after 15 years and was left disappointed.
