Brother's Family Restaurant

Unexpected find! We were going through Kewaskum on our way up north. Been through here many times. On this trip we decided to stop at Brother’s Cafe for breakfast.

Brother’s is one of those side of the road diners that often goes un-noticed by travelers. But this place is a little gem when it comes to breakfast.

There is nothing fancy here. Simple and dated decor (which adds to the ambiance), table or counter seating. Great menu with low prices.

Homemade bread. Homemade jam (ask for it).

Everything was cooked perfect.

This is like an American version of Nonna’s (the movie). Lots of older ladies doing the cooking and serving. So don’t expect speed. But expect quality and a great meal at a very good price.

This is one of those restaurants you would drive past without noticing.
Our suggestion. Notice it and go there for very good breakfast.

If you’re pretentious or fussy. Go somewhere else. This is good food and a simple atmosphere with locals frequenting the place. Not at all a tourist destination (not that kewaskum is for tourists)!

Not going to wow you appearance wise, but the food is delicious and served hot and quickly!

The servers are quick. Old fashioned diner. Finally a place that hasn't raised the prices through the roof.

Desperately needs a good cleaning and update!

For the price, the hot beef sandwich could've used more meat.
They need some more 'livelier' help.

Been going there for years. Food and service are great! Best Denver omlette around. My wife loves the veggie skillet and my grandson loves the big ass Cinnamin roll after his French Toast...that kid can eat.

One of our favorite breakfast spots. Fast service, friendly staff, homemade food.

Awful, Awful waitstaff!!! She did nothing the entire time, except complain and cuss about her job! Its very unprofessional to act that way in front of guests! Then when we asked about breakfast, she so rudely said "turn the page...breakfast is right there. Ummmm seriously! Show me on the menu where it says they serve breakfast all day....it doesnt. The place is disgustingly dirty! Drop the Awful Attitude sweetheart Lol! Im assuming she pocketed the $5 we left for our pathetic looking cappuccino. We walked out!!! It was that bad!! Unbelievably terrible, almost to the point of being comical!
UPDATE- No response is a response....a very loud one. No apology or word from the owner. Eat somewhere else, to avoid contaminated food and staff!!!

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely NOT kid friendly! So much cussing and negativity from the waitstaff!

We always love our food here! It is a small diner and it is out dated but the service is great, food is yummy, and staff is friendly. It can be busy on the weekends with a wait sometimes but the service is fast. Everything we’ve had is great our favorites are the skillets, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. The prices are cheap and we will continue to be customers!
