We came in with a big group and so did 3 other groups of people. There were about 20 of us none of us knowing one another and all first time visitors. Everyone wanted drinks and food at the same time. Joe was all by himself and did a great job of taking care of everyone. Not only that, the food was very good and Joe is very entertaining. If you have not stopped here you should and try the j*** chicken wings. They are excellent. We will be back.

We went here for lunch and the service was great and the food was outstanding! The owner is really doing something special and offering an experience and options that you won't find anywhere nearby. Definitely going again and telling everyone I know how delicious it was!

Energetic , friendly, , but The soul food felt like reheated leftovers ridden with cold spots . I haven't tried anything else they offer. Great place to have a drink skip the soul food.

Really like the owner and the Caribbean ambience he's trying to create. He makes some really tasty sandwiches. Little skimpy on the drink pours. He really needs some help in there though, like practically every other restaurateur out there. Poor guy is typically by himself most of the time... trying to run the bar, kitchen, restaurant, etc., all by his lonesome. Hope he can keep it rolling.Will go back!

Stopped in at Joe's to see what it was like, have a drink, and get some carryout. Found some friends were already inside, with Joe bantering with them at the bar. The place is inviting, warm, and friendly. Joe is a conversationalist for sure, and can keep up with anyone lol. Just know women order first, he'll hold you to it.All that to say, the food is great, the establishment is relaxing, and Joe will keep you there with fun.

Wow, not just great food, the flavors and cooking are an education in cuisine. I had the j*** chicken the spice, sweet and grilled protien were perfectly balanced. Everything about my visit makes me want to go back. Joyful! More than 4 people call ahead.

Had the fried catfish and it was delicious. The spaghetti added to the fish dinner was a different addition but it was phenomenal!! The rum punch itself is probably reason enough for me to go back. ???

Heard bad things. Tried it anyway. Should've listened. Also there's no j*** chicken, beans n rice cabbage or plantains. It's sandwiches with j*** sauce. J*** chicken sandwich was a sloppy mess that was impossible to pick up. Hard pass.
