Looks like a nice enough place. The gal that retrieved my pizza was pleasant. The pizza wasn't that great for the price. The crust was overdone, and the pizza was way overpriced for the area!

We had a Hawaiian BBQ pizza, it was a good pizza. The service was good. The atmosphere inside was great. We will eat there again.

Heading home to Green Bay from a hugh pool tournament in Minnesota, was getting tired - googled pizza , and Big Al’s- how can you go wrong! Lots of Minnesota money in my pocket I ordered 16” pizza, and the peanut butter cake! Pizza was great and I haven’t say I just ate the last bite of the peanut butter cake! All I can say is wow!! Headed back for some more Minnesota money next month I’m definitely calling my order into Big Als!!!

We were in LaCrosse for some errands and wanted an early dinner and a drink. We did a quick search for pizza downtown and came upon Big Al's. Some of the reviews were not overly complimentary but we decided to give them a try. I am half Italian so I am a tough customer when it comes to pizza as I make my own with an outdoor wood-fired oven. We sat outside and were eagerly attended to by our waiter Jackson. He was very friendly and efficient. We ordered drinks and a Caesars salad and a medium sized pizza. The salad was very good and the pizza was delicious. The crust had the perfect "chew" to it, the sauce was great and the nice Italian sausage chunks were first rate. All in all we would highly recommend Big Al's to any pizza lovers around.

We ordered a hand tossed pepperoni and a side order of cheese bread. It is the same as when I worked there nearly 30 years ago. It is a great pizza with the perfect blend of sauce, toppings and cheese. They don't skimp either. Our server was fantastic and checked on us regularly. The one negative isn't at all a big deal, but because of a UW L soccer team fun lion we had to sit in the smaller bar side of the restaurant. Again, not a big deal, but I missed the main dining room.
I would highly recommend Big Al's for pizza whenever you're in LA Crosse.
