“Sagra is an Italian Eatery above Piggy’s on Front Street in La Crosse. It was recommended to us by several residents. It did not disappoint. We started with an Arancini appetizer. We have had arancini before, but NEVER like this. It’s the best we have ever had. Instead of being rice heavy, it was cheese heavy. They were almost like a Wisconsin cheese curd. The pecorino, a mixture of Italian cheeses, was melty and delicious, especially dipped in the buttermilk dipping sauce. We also ordered the special appetizer, fried wax beans. The breading was very light, almost like tempura. The dipping sauce added the flavor. They were good, but the Arancini definitely stood out. For entrees we got a crawfish dish and a chicken dish. Both were generous portions, which allowed us to have leftovers for lunch the following day. The Crawfish Fra Diavola was filled with crawfish and was very flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Chicken Scarpariello was delicious. The polenta was rich and creamy. The chicken comes bone in and skin on, which keeps it juicy. This dish also had Italian sausage and fresh vegetables. I really enjoyed the Italian sausage as a contrast to the chicken. The only disappointment was when we asked the waitress what 5 dishes were on the “chef’s market menu,” she didn’t know and really wouldn’t elaborate. I wanted to try that, but at $58 per person, the requirement for full table participation, and no information, I wasn’t willing to take the chance.”

Her recommendations for food & drink were spot on, her personality was wonderful and the food was superb. We will definitely dine here again for the delicious meal & to see Mia again. “We love Diggers. Best in La Crosse. But a recent trip let us down. The classic bread crack to locals was gone. Fayzes provided it and they closed. Today People’s Food Coop brought Fayzes bakery back. Hoping the wonderful bread is restored!”

I even messed up my own order and our server whipped it right back to the kitchen and brought me what I actually wanted to order!!! It was my fault entirely. everything was delicious. “Stayed here for work Sept , Oct and it is just great. The staff is very nice! There is a small pool and a hot-tub glass windows to see the river. Its nice place to sit when its cold. The Bar looks out on the river. Breakfast lunch and dinner with lounge and tv's in the booths. The patio outside is great they have a fire pit and allow smoking. Its a short walk to everything and a short drive to anything. Parking can be a problem in La Crosse its best to walk, ride bike etc. The rooms are nice the location is perfect.”

“Very relaxing, everyone so friendly and food was fabulous! We stayed at The Radisson to see the Rotary Lights. After, we went back, freshened up and went downstairs for dinner, very convenient. We asked to be by the windows with a view the lights while we ate but no seats were available and our table was set at a different location, waiting for us to finish our drinks. The gentleman that seated us, moved our table to a window seat that had just opened up without even asking before we went in. We were very impressed that he did this and it made our meal that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend. This is our 4th year going there for the lights and we would do it any other way! Enjoy!!!”

“We hosted a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant. We were in the private area of the restaurant, and it worked out beautifully for our 30 guests. The food was excellent! The biggest hits - the kale salad, the bruschetta, hot honey pepperoni pizza and the bacon & fig jam pizza. Our guests enjoyed the variety of pizzas and the unique flavors offered. The pizza came out fast and the staff kept up with everything that was eaten. Sometimes even asking guests what they liked and if they had special requests. I was able to spend time visiting with our guests and not worrying about the food or drinks. We were told repeatedly how much everyone enjoyed their meal- music to my ears! I cannot thank Spencer and Tyler enough- it really was extraordinary! They far surpassed our expectations- not only with the venue- but the truly tasty food. If you are in La Crosse - do not overlook this place!”

“This place was a 10/10. We stopped in for a quick breakfast. Orders are placed at the counter and delivered to your table. I got the Madame & Pepe breakfast sandwich. It was made with grilled shaved ham, sunny egg, parmesan creme, on a Fayze's croissant. It was also served with a mixed green salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I added a mimosa to my meal which was also a generous size. The portion size was HUGE. It was delicious and we will be back! Picture in the comments”

“We stopped by last night around 7:15, and there was a good sized line. We weren’t aware that the store was supposed to close at 7 (the website says 9pm). The young man working was the only one there and he handled the line and the late closing extremely well. It wasn’t until someone came in around 7:40 and there were still about 3 parties in line that he told the new customer who came in that they were already closed and that we realized we were “those people”. I just wanted to take a minute to compliment this young man working. He really did a great job of handling a stressful situation, the line was long but you wouldn’t have known by how he handled himself. The customer service was great and so was the ice cream!”

“If you want to know what mid century mod design was - you can get a feel for it at the Starlight Lounge. The retro look is pretty much spot on. Service was efficient, beverage list is more than sufficient - and prices are reasonable, esp if one partakes during Happy Hour. Decor is getting a little dinged & they need to stay on top of vacuuming the stairwell & using a ladder to clean the thick dust on the window ledge in the entry way. First (& second) impressions matter & cleanliness should always be a priority. Aside from that - it's a fun stop for a step back in time. Oh - one more thing - we are from another state & when we perused the beverage menu we had to stop and think - are we really in Wisconsin? There is not an Old Fashioned on the menu! Yes, you can still order one but we were perplexed that it isn't listed on the cocktail menu. EVERY bar in Wisc should note an Old Fashioned on their beverage menu! Cheers!”

“We have been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years and the food usually has wonderful flavoring. Tonight we all were disappointed. No flavoring to the ground beef. Tastes just like cooked hamburger. The steak Mexicano had no flavoring and didn't seemed to be merinated. The quacomole was green and thin. This will not keep us from coming back. We will come back and try again. We did discuss this with the owner and he said thank you and he would check into it.”

Watching him work is like observing a symphony where every movement is deliberate, every pour a crescendo, every garnish placed with the reverence of a museum curator handling priceless art. And the drinks? Oh, the drinks. To call them “good” would be an insult of catastrophic proportions. Each sip felt like a heartfelt apology from the universe for every mediocre beverage I’ve ever consumed. Flavors didn’t just complement each other—they conversed. They told stories. I’m convinced one of them knew my childhood memories better than I do. But beyond the drinks, Isaac possesses that rare, almost mythical quality: he makes everyone feel like they are the main character. The bar could be packed, chaos swirling like a poorly made martini (which Isaac would never allow, obviously), and yet somehow, when he speaks to you, it feels like the entire world has politely stepped aside. I went in for a drink. I left with a renewed sense of purpose, a mild existential awakening, and the firm belief that if Isaac ever decided to run for any form of leadership—local, national, or galactic—I would follow without hesitation. Five stars feels insufficient. Five stars is what you give a decent sandwich. Isaac deserves constellations. He deserves entire galaxies carefully arranged in his honor. If you have not yet experienced Isaac at Brothers, I urge you—no, I implore you—correct this immediately. Your future self will thank you. Your taste buds will write poetry about it. “We had the opptunity to have a tour here and you're instantly hit with a wonderful smell of sweets. They highly value product quality, so we geared up in full uniform to prevent any contamination. The facility is super clean, well lit, and not hot or humid, which makes you trust their products on the shelves even more.

The only negative about the tour is that you're so tempted to eat them and we weren't given any samples, but I understand they go through many testing before their out on the shelves. Wonderfully made!”

And this particular location, their vestibule smells like heaven like I walk in there and I don't know what they have going on for scent, but it makes you want a hot tub like it's so amazing. And the staff here, their customer service was great. Again, of course, the kids today are doing such a good job at being human beings. So polite so on top of their game. Their customer service is on point. I highly recommend this location.”
