“Lovechild served us a memorable meal. We arrived early, and by the time we left it was nearly full. Since the service and atmosphere are definitely top-notch the value is there. Made from scratch dishes delivered on taste and texture. A child any mother could love...”
“We love Diggers. Best in La Crosse. But a recent trip let us down. The classic bread crack to locals was gone. Fayzes provided it and they closed. Today People’s Food Coop brought Fayzes bakery back. Hoping the wonderful bread is restored!”
“We went there last night for dinner. Natelie was out waitress, and outstanding doesn't even come close to her service. She went above and beyond, she made the whole experience wonderful. The food was perfectly seasoned, veggies were crisp. The chicken cordon Bleu was mouth watering. Very impressed. Will definitely be back”

“I love Caribou! The drinks and food are always perfection. I also love the chocolate covered espresso beans they give us with a mocha. I feel much better supporting a Minnesota based company, rather than a global company that supports groups/countries that are bombing and killing innocent babies and children.”
“Our server Josie was amazing she brought out our food fast and made really good drinks love Milwaukee burger”
“Just left there with friends from Iowa. outstanding food, great service as always. I even messed up my own order and our server whipped it right back to the kitchen and brought me what I actually wanted to order!!! It was my fault entirely. everything was delicious. I especially recommend the Creole Corn chowder and Armadillo eggs (not andouille eggs LOL) Thank you Karen for being a great server. I wished I would have tipped more. you went above and beyond for us!”

Both were generous portions, which allowed us to have leftovers for lunch the following day. The Crawfish Fra Diavola was filled with crawfish and was very flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Chicken Scarpariello was delicious. The polenta was rich and creamy. The chicken comes bone in and skin on, which keeps it juicy. This dish also had Italian sausage and fresh vegetables. I really enjoyed the Italian sausage as a contrast to the chicken. The only disappointment was when we asked the waitress what 5 dishes were on the “chef’s market menu,” she didn’t know and really wouldn’t elaborate. I wanted to try that, but at $58 per person, the requirement for full table participation, and no information, I wasn’t willing to take the chance.”

“We stopped by last night around 7:15, and there was a good sized line. We weren’t aware that the store was supposed to close at 7 (the website says 9pm). The young man working was the only one there and he handled the line and the late closing extremely well. It wasn’t until someone came in around 7:40 and there were still about 3 parties in line that he told the new customer who came in that they were already closed and that we realized we were “those people”. I just wanted to take a minute to compliment this young man working. He really did a great job of handling a stressful situation, the line was long but you wouldn’t have known by how he handled himself. The customer service was great and so was the ice cream!”
“We hosted a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant. We were in the private area of the restaurant, and it worked out beautifully for our 30 guests. The food was excellent! The biggest hits - the kale salad, the bruschetta, hot honey pepperoni pizza and the bacon & fig jam pizza. Our guests enjoyed the variety of pizzas and the unique flavors offered. The pizza came out fast and the staff kept up with everything that was eaten. Sometimes even asking guests what they liked and if they had special requests. I was able to spend time visiting with our guests and not worrying about the food or drinks. We were told repeatedly how much everyone enjoyed their meal- music to my ears! I cannot thank Spencer and Tyler enough- it really was extraordinary! They far surpassed our expectations- not only with the venue- but the truly tasty food. If you are in La Crosse - do not overlook this place!”
“Excellent food and service. would highly recommend the Sloppy Crow fries.”
“If you want to know what mid century mod design was - you can get a feel for it at the Starlight Lounge. The retro look is pretty much spot on. Service was efficient, beverage list is more than sufficient - and prices are reasonable, esp if one partakes during Happy Hour. Decor is getting a little dinged & they need to stay on top of vacuuming the stairwell & using a ladder to clean the thick dust on the window ledge in the entry way. First (& second) impressions matter & cleanliness should always be a priority. Aside from that - it's a fun stop for a step back in time. Oh - one more thing - we are from another state & when we perused the beverage menu we had to stop and think - are we really in Wisconsin? There is not an Old Fashioned on the menu! Yes, you can still order one but we were perplexed that it isn't listed on the cocktail menu. EVERY bar in Wisc should note an Old Fashioned on their beverage menu! Cheers!”

“We were in on Tuesday at noon.food was delicious as always but the ribs were not as meaty as we always have gotten in previous visits n the chicKen breast seemed smaller. I would rather pay a little more for the meaty ribs cause good golly they are the best. Please go back to the meaty ribs n bigger chicken breasts as we alway get the big garbage can…alway. And of course the bread pudding was fantastic! Do not mind dropping a 100.00 when we come but please meaty ribs not the thinner ribs we received Tuesday..thank you”
“Young woman bartender was sweet and helpful. My daughter got to spin the wheel for her 21st birthday for a free drink. We did the axe throwing. Instructor did a great job teaching us. We had a blast!”
“The back patio is an great space to sit and talk, plenty of room, and variety of styles available”

“This place was a 10/10. We stopped in for a quick breakfast. Orders are placed at the counter and delivered to your table. I got the Madame & Pepe breakfast sandwich. It was made with grilled shaved ham, sunny egg, parmesan creme, on a Fayze's croissant. It was also served with a mixed green salad with a vinaigrette dressing. I added a mimosa to my meal which was also a generous size. The portion size was HUGE. It was delicious and we will be back! Picture in the comments”
“Five Stars for Bean Juice! If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot that serves exceptional coffee and delicious bites, look no further than Bean Juice. Their toasted coconut coffee is absolutely divine—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. My go-to coffee every single day!😍 The paninis! Crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, each bite is a testament to their quality and attention to detail. Overall, Bean Juice is a hidden gem that combines great coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee shop experience.”
“Today I had a fantastic meal at a small restaurant by UWL! I gave it a 5 rating for excellent flavors! For a person looking for food that is closest to some of the food served when in Asia, this place hit the spot! Yes, they have limited product like egg rolls, and crab Rangoons, but the spicy chicken wings were awesome AND SPICY, so you were warned. The curries were lovely, and my friend enjoyed the pork belly immensely. Service and food took some time, but it was well worth the wait in my opinion. Good food cannot be rushed!”
“Our family came to Howies after my daughter raved about this place. We brought my brother and his daughter with. We got to sit up top so our waitress had to carry our drinks and food to up to us. If you haven’t met waitress Jessica W yet you must! She was a rock star! She kept our drinks full and got our food to us in a timely manner. She was so friendly and we all loved her. The food was dynamite! We loved the appetizers and our main meal. We will for sure be back and will be asking for Jessica again!”
“Waited an hour and paid $10. Worth every minute and dollar I paid. I would have gone back for more if they hadn’t sold out. Amazing.”
“The Ridge has become part of our Family Friday Fish Fry tradition! We go there with Dad and our family and have the best time! We love the best homemade soups in the La Crosse area, the familiar friendly faces that work and patron there, and old school atmosphere! Get the cranberries on your amazing salad from a clean and fresh salad bar! All the love ❤️”

“walked around the entire bar & restaurant twice-not a worker in sight so we seated ourselves. took 10 minutes for someone to notice. this was at 1 pm on a Friday-probably 15 people total in bar & dining area. waitress was not friendly, helpful, or knowledgeable about menu. burgers were overcooked but tasty. chicken wrap was delicious. house made ranch was superb. our waitress brought our drinks & the bill-that's the only time we saw her”
“Not only is their food so yummy, their drinks amazing, they have the best customers too, I ordered for 8 people did not plan well and went by myself. Instead of taking two trips to my car down the street around the corner, one of their customers helped me out! Highly recommend Grounded Patio Cafe for food, drinks, coffee or somewhere to enjoy good music with nice people!!”
“MK Eats has some of the best food in La Crosse, hands down. So fresh, so tasty. I can’t recommend enough! I never leave reviews on restaurants so please know when I say you should try it out, I mean it! My husband and I love this place and I hope it never leaves La Crosse!”

“God bless the amazing guy in the black shirt with darker hair who was waiting on us today. Today was not a good day for us & he could clearly see that.... He bought our coffees and I’m so thankful for the kindness in the world. Thank you sir! Another reason why I come back to Moka. Good coffee and great employees.”
“One of my favorite restaurants around. Always great good and customer service. Highly recommend the Freighthouse!”

“My husband and I decided to go back to Big Al's and have pizza like we used to when we were first dating. They have remodeled since we last here, it looks great and it still has interesting things to look at. But, a couple things haven't changed. The pizza is still amazing, the service is still wonderful and the atmosphere is great for families and singles. I am so happy we went back.”
“So far I've had the best Mexican food there. One time they misinterpreted my order. Our party was informed that it was the waiter's first day on the job. The party was upset but I knew it wasn't a typical day. 11/10 Tip them well, please. That means us, Forest Park.”
“Stayed here for work Sept , Oct and it is just great. The staff is very nice! There is a small pool and a hot-tub glass windows to see the river. Its nice place to sit when its cold. The Bar looks out on the river. Breakfast lunch and dinner with lounge and tv's in the booths. The patio outside is great they have a fire pit and allow smoking. Its a short walk to everything and a short drive to anything. Parking can be a problem in La Crosse its best to walk, ride bike etc. The rooms are nice the location is perfect.”

“My husband and I took our girls there this evening and they had a blast, as usual. The cherry on top was that the kids got to meet Chuck E. Our youngest is obsessed with him and it was a dream come to true for her... better than meeting Santa if you ask her. Shout out to Maddie. She was so kind and my kids really like her. All of the employees are fantastic every time we go though. Highly recommend.”

“If you need / want a cup of coffee to start your day - or just kick back & relax with caffeine in hand - this is the place. Avoid the burnt acid of so many coffee shops (looking at you Starbucks, for one). Oh Oh serves primo coffee that is silky smooth. Stop in and savor the sublime.”
“Delicious food! I tried bananutella waffle, corn dog, donuts, and Thai milk coffee 😋”
“I’m not convinced they don’t have a chip surveillance system. You blink? Chips. You breathe? Salsa refill. WHO is eating them? It’s you. It’s been you the whole time. By the end of the meal, I am reclining in the booth like a Renaissance painting of excess. I briefly consider unbuttoning something I am not legally allowed to unbutton in public. I tell the server, “Everything was perfect,” with the intensity of someone who has just survived something life-altering.”
